---===How to power lvl your alt with pet battles===---

Alright so, my bot somewhere in middle of the night DCD and I didnt notice until 6am and I dont know for how long it wasnt active either ways together with that DC it took me nearly 12h to go from 85 - 90. Great way to level in Pandaria however you do not get any sort of gold or gear or crafting material leveling this way. This is a good way to level a character quick so you can get your professions sorted tho!

P.S. Maybe it is better to go kill off some mobs the first levels you are rested, I didnt try this myself but I noticed that winning Pet Battles does not use rested XP so rested or not same amount of XP.
 
Currently testing with a 78 and 3 Zandalari Kneebiters at level 25.
Will report back later tonight.

I added a logic for the cases where the combo wouldn't kill it, it simply passes a round or two untill the abilities are off cooldown.

50 minutes for 1? level so far.

51 minutes for 80-81.

Alright so according to the log it's been on from 19:45 till 3:50. Went from 78? to 84?.

Noticed it took a lot longer to level after 85; currently on 2 hours played at 86 and 76% in.

This is fairly confusing to me. I have read this thread like 10 times and still can't grasp what's going on. I must be really tired or just plain dense.

Are you using two accounts, two HonorBuddies, and just using the 25-1-1 to Q the 2 accounts VS each other and have one forfeit?

Or is this one account, one honorbuddy, and using 3 level 25 Kneebiters running the profile @ The Tillers location.
 
Ok htabz listen up

This has nothing to do with the OC forums one of having 2 accounts and spamming find battle at the same time and forfeiting one so the other gets all the xp.

What you do is use one account get him over to the valley of the four winds to Lucky Yi you can use profile on the first post and use the setting with 3 zandalari kneebitters and what it will then do is kill Lucky Yi in about 20 sec of the battle and you get massive xp for it and rinse and repeat thats it :-)

With this method I'm getting about 8 million xp per hour

I hope this helps you as i was confused at the start as well lol

Ok, so you take one 90 with three high level pets and one alt that you are interested in leveling up.

You group up, then head over to Lucky Yi. You then defeat Lucky Yi, as a group?

Does that give your alt exp, or am I missing something too? Can you battle yi together, or what?

Not familiar with pet battles :P

You don't need 2 accounts really. Just need someone to port you to Pandaria and carry you down to the mob. You need the 3 level 25 pets on the char you want to level.
It's just safer if it's yourself doing the porting and travelling etc. using a 2nd account but a friend will do at a pinch.
 
Ahh alright, so you can have the level 25 pets on your alt thats not already max?

Didnt know that. Figured you'd be group battling the cricket with the lowby just passing on his turn or something ;)

that's the point of this profile xD wouldn't make sence to make a leveling profile for lvl 90's only xD
 
Im not using Zandalari Kneebiter x3, since the Ah doesn't have any and im very limited to what lvl 25 pets i have. Currently using an all humanoid team: Harbinger of Flame (Jab, Immolate, Impale), Curious Wolvar Pup (Bite, Snap Trap, Maul), and Kun-Lai Runt (Thrash, Mangle, Rampage). My Kun-Lai Runt does the most damage since i just Mangle for the dmg buff and then Rampage and Thrash to death. Although its a bit slower then Zandalari Kneebiter x3 at level 12 I am getting 16k exp/hr which is around 2-3 levels an hour.
 
Thanks for the clarification Techz, it all makes sense now!

How are you guys going about leveling your pets? I did a little research and was attempting to go this route to get a fast level 25, then use that to power level my Kneebiters.

Trainers till level 6 Mechanical Pet (Fluxfire Feline)
Capture 3 lvl 17+ Arcane Eyes
Capture 3 Dragonbone Hatchlings
Grind Veil of Eternal Blossoms till 25, then start powerleveling the Kneebiters.

I am stuck on the Dragonbone Hatchlings. I was able to get 2 level 17 uncommons, and a 17 poor, but am still getting crushed trying to tame a Dragonbone.
 
htabz it helps if you can pick up a rare or even two(arcane eyes), and you have to have at least 3 uncommons because the poors won't ever hit the dragonbone. You have to keep entering the battles and look for certain wild pets, I usually wait until both of the wild pets are poor quality. I find crabs are easy and so are penguins. The rabbits usually dominate me. Even after you capture the first bird it will still be difficult. Just remember to always use your arcane eyes against the birds and use the birds against the other pets you face. Hope that helps.
 
htabz use 2 account with the same or near enough same level pets and queue at the same time then forfeit to power level them to 25 :-)

This seems like a much better idea then grinding the Dragonbone Hatchlings. I can't imagine having to do 2 more Kneebiters after the one I'm working on now!

I imagine you have to alternate who forfeits in order to keep the levels around the same so you keep getting the right queue?
 
Cant someone write an easy tutorial for people like me, who hadnt any pets before?

I did some Tamerquests and now I have to fight vs the fourth pet mastery trainer!

I have 3 kneebiters (LVL: 7,3,2)
So how should I continue to level them fast? I tried using Pokebuddy but it doesnt work well for me, after the first fight it always stands around and wont do anything!

Do anyone can give me some tips or a tutorial?

Basic tutorial to get pokehbuddy to level your pets (bit horde minded)
Get a fresh copy of HB (Avoid placing it in any windows related folder. Preferably on another drive)
Install a fresh copy of pokehbuddy & petarea
Travel to Kalimdor
Run HB
Enable Pokehbuddy and PetArea
Select Gatherbuddy
Load a random gatherbuddy profile.
Press Start.

The default profiles are 99% safe for horde, 90% safe for alliance.
Not the fastest way, but it is a pretty safe way.

So I should load the default preset in advanced settings in Pokebuddy?

Thats only if you screw up the formula's and factors. Its called the advanced settings tab for a reason ;) For basic leveling you shouldnt have to visit it.

Htabz isnt grinding the dragonbone hatchlings. He's simply catching them to quickly jump up to a lvl 25 pet because until he does he can't use a lvl 25 kneebiter. arcane eye to dragonbone hatchling is the fastest way to pet lvl 25.

I messed it already up. xD I used the settings of the pokebuddy developer. 8 hp factor, 100 lvl difference, 1 advantage and 2 disadvantage. dunno if this is good tho
