Okay, i think it is time to talk builds, guys. I am personally going for inna set / dual weps with WoL (40 spirit rune) / overawe spam /SW (cyclone). 710 all rez seems to be working nicely for now, mp4 no problem at all. Did anyone try dodge builds yet?

Could you post your build using the blizzard skill calculator?

Sure thing, bro. Here it is: GOSU BUILD #1

Keep in mind that i am using a SoJ for spirit regen / SW dmg / dmg 2 elites and also a Templar for spirit regen. Good idea is to have spirit regen in the Inna helm, but SW dmg or extra hp/rezist also works fine. 35+ crit chance is enough. Pick up radius is very important as well, make sure you got at least 6-7 form items. I got 7 in my vile ward.

Here is the modification to the monk abilities for WoL i do:

Code:
// Wave of light
            if (!UseOOCBuff && !IsCurrentlyAvoiding && !PlayerStatus.IsIncapacitated &&
                Hotbar.Contains(SNOPower.Monk_WaveOfLight) &&
                GilesUseTimer(SNOPower.Monk_WaveOfLight) &&
                (ElitesWithinRange[RANGE_25] > [COLOR="#FF0000"][SIZE=4][B]1[/B][/SIZE][/COLOR] || AnythingWithinRange[RANGE_25] > [COLOR="#FF0000"][B]4[/B][/COLOR] || (CurrentTarget.IsBossOrEliteRareUnique && CurrentTarget.RadiusDistance <= 20f)) &&
                (PlayerStatus.PrimaryResource >= 75 ||
                 (hasEmpoweredWaveRune && PlayerStatus.PrimaryResource >= 40 && !IsWaitingForSpecial)) && // Empowered Wave
                Monk_HasMantraAbilityAndBuff())

Still experimenting with range and values here, but those work just fine for mp4 for me.

I don't know much of my head from my ass when doing a gear build for a monk like this. Could someone post up an updated "gear build" guide for this as well as a skills calculator?

Also, with the new patch, how much more improvement are you seeing with botting a TR Monk in regards to GPH, IPH, and XP/H?

Bot is wasting a lot of spirit on spamming TR. I needed 25 spirit per second to have it up most of the time and gph/iph was lower than with my old setup. It seems like the bot just doesn't know how to TR properly. Running TR build manually myself I saw a huge improvement though! It has potential.

I am experimenting this build atm:

http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/monk#aSXjek!ZXU!acbZba

Some notes: I have about 2 spirit regen per sec from SOJ and 12 pickup radius. Using WKL + EF setup with 2.5k total life after kill with innas set. Remember to disable mantra spam in monk combat options so that you have more spirit for WOL spamming.

Currently running MP1 and 2 with my bots fine with this setup. Running skyhigh max extended with 500+ iphr and close to 700k gphr with my paragon 100 monk. Paragon 70+ monk is getting 35m xp/hr with only % 27 ruby gem and leoric signet with 600k gold and again 500 iphr in MP1.

This looks nice, i wanna try the ally, but i'd rather put it in there instead of HEAL, because 4 seconds invulnerability is a must for mp3/4.

Here is the gear i am using on my monks; these are the minimum requirements stats wise. This is simply what i am using now(early on i might add), does not mean it can't be better :)

HEAD: Inna = resist + 150 vita + life % / spirit regen / SW dmg + socket(AMETHYST)
SHOULDERS: Vile Ward = 170 dex + resist + pick up radius
AMULET: rare = 100 dex + 100 vita + 9 crit chance + 50+ crit dmg + resist
HANDS: rare = 50 dex + 50 vita + 40+ all res + 30+ resist + 9 crit chance + 30+ crit dmg
TORSO: Inna = 170 dex + 100 vita
WRISTS: rare = 150 dex +70 vita + 50 all res + 50 resist + 3.5 crit chance / armor
WAIST: Inna = 90 dex + 50+ resist
L FINGER: rare = 50 dex + 50 vita + 10+ life% + 5+ crit chance + 30+ crit dmg
R FINGER: identical rare with attack speed instead of crit dmg
or
SoJ = 1+ spirit regen + 25%+ bonus against elites + 8% SW/WoL dmg
LEGS: Inna = 90 dex + 9% as + 50+ resist
FEET: rare = 200 dex + 70 vita + 40+ all res + 50+ resist + 12% ms
or
identical fire walkers
MAIN WEAPON: Echoing Fury = 1100 dps + socket(EMERALD) + 150+ dex + 0.23+ attacks + 700+ life on kill
OFFHAND WEAPON: rare = 800+ dps + socket(EMERALD) + 100 dex + 2.50+% life steal + 55+% crit dmg / 600+ life on hit

This is the skill calculator with the build: GOSU BUILD #1

And here is how i slightly changed the values of WoL skill:
Code:
// Wave of light
            if (!UseOOCBuff && !IsCurrentlyAvoiding && !PlayerStatus.IsIncapacitated &&
                Hotbar.Contains(SNOPower.Monk_WaveOfLight) &&
                GilesUseTimer(SNOPower.Monk_WaveOfLight) &&
                (ElitesWithinRange[RANGE_25] > [COLOR="#FF0000"][SIZE=4][B]1[/B][/SIZE][/COLOR] || AnythingWithinRange[RANGE_25] > [COLOR="#FF0000"][B]4[/B][/COLOR] || (CurrentTarget.IsBossOrEliteRareUnique && CurrentTarget.RadiusDistance <= 20f)) &&
                (PlayerStatus.PrimaryResource >= 75 ||
                 (hasEmpoweredWaveRune && PlayerStatus.PrimaryResource >= 40 && !IsWaitingForSpecial)) && // Empowered Wave
                Monk_HasMantraAbilityAndBuff())

As far as the testing goes, i can confidently say that using this build is pretty much the same as using the swapping monk build.I used swapping before 1.0.7, with trinity .13.
IPH in the log file is ~400 on all chars and they rarely die in MP4 (<1 per hour). GPH is around 500, but it depends, you know.

What about gold/per monk?
I mean how much do u spend for those items?

Don't get me wrong but I really don't understand people's obsession with high MP. Do you really get best results with mp4? All of my monks have worse gear than yours but all have about 500 iphr and above 600k gphr. Even with WOL one almost one shotting elites MP0 is faster and more efficient than MP1.

Btw ally does not have enough time to do reasonable damage but it deals with remote mobs which may cause some backtracking and cost you time.

Another note: With my mule I am experimenting high mp myself and getting better results with innas set with WOL since you save consideerable amount of spirit. You might give it a try if you have 4.5-5k armor and about 600 res.

I was running about 850+ iph with sweeping wind bug be4 patch
mp4

Hey guys, can you please post trinity IPH (from trinity logs)? That's the only right value. My best value with my best 100 para monk is ~420 on MP1.

For me it is not possible to get higher IPH at mp0 or 1, tested it many times on different chars personally. Many other people have done it as well; difference might be in processing power / internet or something else that differs between my hardware/software setup and bot config. I am using 13 TPS in trinity right now. But because of the extra drop chance / MF drop is best somewhere around MP (3)4-5. That said, i'd love to know what your machine and trinity settings are :)

Price of the gear is somewhere around 50 mil per monk, but tbh i have like 90% of the items self(bot) found before patch. Also 17 mil for 1100 dps EF is not a bad investment to me, since gold isn't selling very well anyway :)

EDIT: Monks are doing 480 IPH right now at mp4, for 4 hrs 3 monks in total died 5 times combined, doing Tinkaizer v0.7

I think it's safe to say this is the first well working build at 1.0.7 ;)

I was doing a bit over that myself with the swap "exploit". Afaik, in newer trinity versions IPH is the correct one and it compares to the older versions by (almost) exactly twice lower.

My comp is realatively new with 12gb ram and i5 3550 CPU win 7 with 128gb ssd, trinity settings are min goldpile 500, tps settings 10-12. My monks all have innas set and all have mantra spam disabled to save spirit for WOL. Atm all are running skyhigh max extended profile and averaging 500+ iph and 650-700k gphr in "MP0". They rarely die at all (like 0.2 per hr). I've experimented with MP1 and 2 as well and either bots die too much, or iph and gph is not on par with mp0.
