I had done a lot of troubleshooting yesterday about getting the "Can't read memory bits" error and I messed around on the website and tried almost everything I could. When I switched from dx 9 to 11 it fixed it for about 30 minutes and now here I am with the same issues plus HB disconnecting from wow also. I'm really unsure what to do as there doesnt seem to be a fix and it really screws up HB. Anyways, here's my log. Hope you can help me out!

wondering if it could be a problem with folders being set to read only? Saw someone fixed a similiar problem changing the attributes. Log coming shortly
 
When I dont get errors the cc is a worlds better. But I dont really even use it that much anymore because I'm a lot faster by hand. Thought I should add in that when I'm doing these tests my antivirus is disabled and I am running wow and hb as an admin. Something must keep getting corrupt because whenever I make a fresh install it seems to work fine for a little while. Maybe there is an alternate place I could download to? Maybe the games folder acts differently in windows 8? (no scientist here)




Edit- Here's a log from right after my clean install where it worked flawless. The error at the bottom seemed to happen when I tabbed out to press stop, as it's the very last thing on there.

That always happens when you press stop.
What is wrong with your latest log?
 
It happens when I don't press stop too......Like I said referring to my log I posted last, that is right after a fresh install, not my latest log. There are tons of memory errors in all the other logs I have.

Also- not sure which log you're referring too. The Clu log or my latest tuanha?

Edit: I'm mainly referring to errors such as these-

System.AccessViolationException: Could not read bytes from 00DB9EFA [299]!
at Styx.MemoryManagement.ExternalProcessReader.ReadBytes(IntPtr address, Int32 count, Boolean isRelative)
at Styx.MemoryManagement.ExternalProcessReader.Read[T](IntPtr address, Boolean isRelative)
at Styx.StyxWoW.get_IsInGame()
at Styx.CommonBot.TreeRoot.()
at Styx.CommonBot.TreeRoot.()

when those aren't there while running tuanha, it's flawless.

"when you tabbed out" are you sure you running wow in windowed mode?
 
yes....as a matter of fact I am 100% sure. I'm not retarded. Anyways, I said "tabbed" out because HB is running behind wow... so you have to hit the alt button, and also the tab button....then go to the right window which would be Honorbuddy.
 
tried a new Hb installation from scratch?
 
Yeah I just keep doing it because it's the only thing that kind of works lol. So confused as to what is causing this
 
Running Windows 8 myself. Not really having many issues, but I do get the can't read memory xyz nearly every time I launch the bot. I just click ignore and continue as usual. Seems to work fine. But as I recall, I was getting that prior to changing to Windows 8, so I don't think it is specifically related to Windows 8.

As I said, its working fine for me, other than the popup saying it can't read memory xyz. I tick ignore and continue as normal. No problem other than that.
 
My HB or wow rarely crashing while running HB. I'm getting actual "unable to read" memory errors while using Tuanha paladin. It doesnt make sense how after a fresh install it works for a little while then starts doing it again
 
Yes, I get the exact same thing. In the popup window tick ignore and continue as usual. At least that's what I do and it's working for me.

Well honestly I have no problems keeping honorbuddy running. Its just the errors slow my cc down so much It makes me not want to use it. I'm faster by hand when I get memory errors, when I dont get em it's lightning fast
 
Hey guys, i also cant run the bot properly on my win 8 machine, so i was wondering since it is a laptop and i bought it new, if there is a method someone of you knows which lets me become windows 7 on it for free?
