Big Issues on Windows 8

Same here with SuperBad (amongst other CC's) on W8. Got the same 'Could not read bytes from xxxxxxx[299]!' issues.

As botanist said, ignore and continue generally seems to work (not Always mind you, and it does slow down execution).

Fresh install, old install, different CC's doesn't seem to change much around.
It's definately W8 related (whether or not it's also specific for x64 I don't know) since I never ran into this when I was running Vista.

Are the folders in the Honorbuddy folder supposed to be set to "Read Only"? Where exactly in Windows 8 are you supposed to extract HB? Just want to try the last two things I can think of

dont know who this alexander is, but hes not a developer, let alone is that issue one that i was aware of.

what ever they are when you exact them should be fine. just extract it to your desktop and just make sure your not running it from a network share.
 
Cool. Tried just rollin desktop and still messing up. Hopefully it's fixed soon. Really slowing down the cc
