zig zag

with my stugIII if i had top engine zig zagged like crazy but drop it back to original engine and its fine. so a sort of temp fix by user is possible.

so maybe try your smallest / weakest engine choice 1st and see if helps and also slower progress can help fool people to believe you are not a bot.

That's weird. We thought it would have had something to do with performance; lower FPS causing the issue more than high FPS. Thanks for pointing this out; we'll have to look elsewhere.

I did the same, downgraded all my tracks and engines when I bot. It sort of works better, but it seems to randomly go back to the zigzagging every now and then, even without the fast tracks and engines. So I couldn 't come up with a good guess as to what is causing this. It's not just the speed / weight of the tank it seems. Some maps are better then others too I've noticed. Sometimes the bot is completely clueless as to which direction to head of too at the start.

Not sure wheter it's usefull to send you logs, seeing as this would be shitloads of logs. Let me know if you want them yes or no, I am happy to give them to you ofcourse.

Is this something that is adressed in version 2? Meaning, is there a better way of moving the tank then you have now maybe?

PS:

With the StugIII it might be because of the fact there is no turrent. Bot "looks" around, which causes zigzagging aswell maybe?

That's not the cause of it. It has to to with how much we allow the navigation to deviate from its path, we're on it. Thanks for the feedback guys! :)
