Zerfall - A Warlock CC

ill be uploading it as soon as he forum stops acting retardly slow.
 
just gotta give you props for this cc. i have tried every othe lock cc out and not to bash any1 but this is by far the top of my list for locks rotation so smooth zero downtime always keeping dots up i was doing around 16k dps on dummys with pretty shitty gear. thx for your hard work and keep it up. loving the update for incinerate
 
so i take it people like it then and stop complaining about there being no pvp warlock CC"s?

Sounds good im actually just leveling a warlock now using your CC, however i was planning to gear him up with honour gear afterwards, so you more or less pre-empted my whines! :)
 
Having an issue which i think is CC related.

On some quests where you have to free an NPC from a spiders web / cocoon for example it will target them but they can be out of line of sight. It then just continues to try and cast on them indefinitely and doesn't try to get back in line of sight. Anyway to fix this, only fix i found was to disable the CC and use a different one/default class.

Hey great job getting incinerate to be the filler. I don't know if i'm using the wrong setup/build or what, but i've always had a lot of trouble with warlock ccs, even yours, which was just updated, is able to pull like 10k max on the dummy, often less tha that in a raid, with my guy equipped way over most of the people i'm with. I'm always hearing about lazyraider ccs that can pull like 20k in 349 gear, and guessing that it is perfectly possible with yours, but that i'm set up wrong or somehting. What spec do you think is the most competitive using your cc? because I'm constantly getting kicked from rf, and instances for pulling extremely low dps...

I'm pretty sure the filler for demo is still shadow bolt. Even with the changes in 4.3, this drops my dps by 3k over long sustained dummy testing.
 
the filler is def incinerate now it does more damage and molten core procs like crazy which ups damage and lowers cast time
 
I like your CC, but it is missing a couple useful buffs. could you add soul link and dark intent?

Coz you need to change your spec to take advantage of the changes. Take the point out of whatever it is that reduces shadowbolt cast time (Bane?), and put them into the incin / soulfire talent. Also, you should be using improved corruption now too.

With spec changes and incinerate in place of shadowbolt, it should be around 2-3k~ dps increase at Non-heroic BiS gear level.


Edit - You can still achieve comparable DPS with the old Spec / rotation, but it is fight dependent. Generally speaking, the new rotation/spec will provide better dps in most situations.
