alxaw, what specc in rogue do u think work best in your cr atm. Im using combat now and if i sim it it says around 190k in 534 ilvl. But i do like 130k.. I have no deep in rogues so I cant tell if thats bad or good. thx

Sims says your optimal dps, meaning that you have every buff, pre pot, single target, 100% executed rotation etc, so its basicly impossible to reach.

If you have the Sha of Pride trinket, 2p set bonus for t16 and atleast 1 slow weapon, go combat, its realy good! If not, go Sub. Assassin is god aswell, but at higher gear levels it starts to fall behind, not the rotations fault, its just how rogues works atm.

This is just on a dummy, not in raid. I didn't Blood lust either. Using Tyrael FL @ 30TPS. Lots of updating as i was testing, both YourRaidingBuddy and Tyrael.
Elemental side, as much ticked as i can to my preferred play style. I pushed 120k dps on the same dummy in the same gear with the same CD usage (526ilvl - no, i'm not good, that's why i need your good routines )

On the Dummy, if i start with a flame shock it will pop ascendance, cooldowns and fire elemental then do nothing. I manually cast a few times to see if this would jar it and it doesn't. Following ascendance casts are fine. Obviously a MAJOR impact on DPS given we rely on that burst.
DPS is somewhat improved
Not using Earth Elemental Totem on CD
Lava Burst usage is spot on, as is elemental blast

Ok - when i am moving:
if lava burst or elemental blast are on cooldown, it casts lightning bolt. but not always.
if EITHER lava burst or lightning bolt are OFF cooldown it will do NOTHING.
If i try to manual cast lightning bolt the CR will cancel the cast.

routine did 97k dps on the attached log.
routine did 110k dps on unattached log with no stormlash or bloodlust. Same issues as above though.

Thanks for testing and attaching log. I've modified the elemental rotation and updated it just now.

If you could update to latest and try again that would be swell!

Regarding Earth Elemental Totem -->

It requires Fire Elemental Totem to be over 60 seconds left on cooldown before using it.

same problems with ascendance at the start. Same problems with earth elemental. More dps though, go figure. Roughly 112k (big rng difference in DPS for elemental, especially on short fights).
No noticable difference.

Lava Burst issue has been fixed at least, now it only "stops" at Ascendance because it thinks it can be used again which is wrong.

Damage was up to 116k though

At the very bottom of the log you can see some activity, i was testing the running and casting (which still isn't working), however the ascendance + lava burst was working here, only difference i could see from normal was that fire elemental totem was on CD.

Been getting the same problems as Characture while on the timeless isle. Movement and casting issue mainly. Also a suggestion, could you add flameshock dotting to other Mobs? For extra lava surge procs. That'd be great.

And thanks for all the improvements to elemental shaman. Forgot how much I liked that class

it had a small amount of lag before kicking off, but it DID go. It burst quite well but then it got stuck with lightning bolt spam. No flame shock, lava burst ready to go, elemental blast ready to go, fulmination procc'd but still just spamming lightning bolt. However, it would not move and cast lightning bolt either. Used totems correctly as well.

Have had this problem for a few days now, Unholy does not work for me, the purerotation doesnt work either, but the singular one works perfectly, nothing happens when i press start, it only auto attacks.

didnt get an update when i tried to update

its really wierd, it sometimes work, but as soon as i pause or stop the bot, nothing happens when i press start again, it auto attacks, i dont have this problem with any other routine, and i tried a fresh install.

edit: i reverted back to rev 860 just to see what happened, and that one seems to work perfectly
edit2: newest version seems to work now to! =)
edit3: scratch that, same issue is happening again

tried this in a raid as combat rogue, works very well. for some reason i STILL cant understand took me forever to actually get it to run, seems to be some combo of Tyrael's softlock / hardlock it doesnt like, or something. Auto-tricks seems to work well, just need to make sure a valid focus target is set at all times or the rotation stops.

couple questions for anyone, its probably not rogue-specific:

any way to force this to keep attacking? right now on trash or boss adds (eg on Galakras, hardmode Immersus, etc), when hitting a crowd of adds (with cleave on) the moment the main target dies the rotation stops, there is no target. it will stay stopped w/o target until i manually hit tab (and hope it actually target something in range) or /startattack macro or right click something with cursor. any setting or change in code or external plugin i can use to have the bot just keep retargetting the nearest mob when the previous target drops?

any way to toggle auto interrupts from within the game without having to tab out to settings? i like auto-interrupts but in some cases you actually DONT want it, eg kick Sul but not the priestess in ToT.

This time it popped ascendance and wouldnt attack, but didn't pop fire elemental until after i had manually cast a few lava bursts. The CR didnt take over casting until after asacendance had faded - like before.
Still no casting on the move - it didnt lightning bolt and i even had a lava burst proc which it wouldnt use.
Earth elemental not used.

Hey alxaw,

first of all you routines rocks my socks off...pretty amazing what you did their.

I have one problem with my windwalker monk...he isnt doing any aoe. i tryed the automatic mode and the hotkey mode to make sure and i think i found the problem. in automatic mode my monk keeps dps single target when adds show up (tested garrosh fight and some other too) then i started to use hotkey mode and binded the 3 options to a key and the cooldown thing and pause are working fine and its shown up in the chat but when i press the aoe key their is no chat output and its still single target..


could you pls take a look into that ?
