As title says.

I read in another post that there was no demand with people buying, coming from a SWTOR players perspective, SWTORs population is growing, and has been ever since free to play was implemented.

There really is not many games of worth playing, thats why SWTOR is booming with players again.

As for the bot, it runs fine for me now, has the last 3 weeks.

I personally would not be taking it of the market, your company will start selling it, beleive me.

thats my 5 cents anyways, hope it helps.

I would love a copy too :/ shame they took it off market, f2p makes this that much more desireable

The game does has a healthy population, including a steady stream of credit buyers.

Beyond the occasional nav server outages, Buddy Wing grind profiles run like a dream now. And there's nothing else available that's even remotely close. I took a hard look at one of their top competitors, and it turns out that the "other bot" can't even run in virtual machines.

As a Lucky's developer, I would personally encourage all its users/former users over at OwnedCore to subscribe here, if only it were continuing. I have yet to find a reasonable alternative for when my sub here runs out in October.

:(

if the demand is there, then anything is possible, the only reason we stopped sales was because the numbers just we'rent there.

But how to determine what the demand might be with sales currently closed? I could direct potential buyers to this thread, or another thread created specifically for that purpose, if that might help.

BW requires at least 1 developer to keep it going - he gets paid a salary.

BW sales were typically €25 per day in December.

I know its a great bot. But its not viable.

i think the people who want the bot really want it. so why not change the sale model. instead of 30/40 dollars per year for 3 session key, why not make it like 10 dollars a month for a 3 session key.

that way the people who really want it can pay for it and if that model turns out to not work you can stop sales at any time because they only paid for a month and not a year. if it looks to be a successful business model then you can allow people to purchase longer times in advanced, such as 3 months in advance, etc

but for this to work you would also have to fix the nav server problem and keep that server up at least 90% of the time. that nav server going down is causing us a lot of frustrations and costing you a lot of sales.

That's a very good suggestion, and quite possibly a reasonable solution. At $10 for 3 sessions per month (perhaps charging $5 for a single session), the same annual user base would generate about 4 times the income of the current model.

Regardless, as far as I'm concerned, the Buddy team can make that fee whatever it needs to be so that the bot is profitable. For users selling credits, the ($10) fee suggested can be paid for in less than a day with leveled characters, so it's more than worth it as far as I'm concerned.

And as stated above, if the experiment fails, the developers need only keep the bot running for another 30 days.

exactly, charge whatever you need to make it profitable. the 10$ a month was just a suggestion. the right number might be higher or it might be lower.

the basic point is that many users see the value in the bot and would likely pay 3 to 4 times what they pay now, assuming the nav server is stable.

and by doing it on a monthly subscription basis if it doesn't work out you can cancel the whole thing quickly.

GW Buddy would sell more that 25$ pr day... give us a bot that works like honorbuddy or demonbuddy and it will sell like hot cake. Also keep your promises and dont promise us stuff you cant deliver like buddywing fx.

BW will never work as well as HB or DB because of the horrible way the game's coded. I would pay a monthly fee simply for its grinding capabilities (and ability to run in virtual machines), which are far better than anything else available.

If our choice is between BW as it works today vs. no BW whatsoever, it's a no brainer for me. The bot is a valuable tool, warts and all.

It is terrible does not work they should service what they sell...

Well someone tell me what they are doing because for the life of me I cant get it working smoothly.

i am unsure what you guys need to make the bot viable to sell.

But i know after alot of hrs and fuking messing around i have got the bot to grind for extended periods, now in saying that, i use 3 pc's and they all stop working at diff times, i have been lucky 1 just has gone gone the last week.

this bot is not for new p-layers to bots, you really should make that known, but still with the expansions coming out and the farming required to pay for raid repaires, you guys will still make good cash.

Just be quick with the patch downtime.

PS: do that and i will recomend this bot to everyone i know that plays tor

LOL I PUT A FUGGIN POST LIKE THIS UP A MONTH OR SO AGO!?!!?!??!!?!?!?!?!?!

Allow me to take caps off for just this sentence, and then put them on again.

IF YOU ARE GOING TO UPDATE THE BOT FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE YEAR WHY ARE YOU GUYS THROWING MONEY OUT. MANY PEOPLE LIKE MYSELF WILL PAY MONTHLY FOR THIS BOT. YOU ARE THROWING AWAY 5-8 DOLLARS A MONTH * NUMBER OF SUBSCRIBERS.

Similar to the way that I will never understand the LoL community, I don't think I can ever understand the bot developer community. All of these bot makers are to nonchalant in the way "I make enough money off my WoW/GW2/TERA/etc bot that I don't like that game. I know it will bring in over 1k a month and all I have to do to update the bot is run a script to find the changed offsets, but I don't want that extra 1k a month cause that game is stupid." Or what have you.

Like I said before, why stop selling the bot if people want to pay??? You already have your paypal set up, just spend an hour or two and make a 1 month option. BAM AN EXTRA >1k mo MORE IN YOUR EFFIN POCKET!!!

Please make buddy wing available for purchase. ALSO: Bioware is adding a new GBLT planet (gay, lesbian, bi, tranny) where you can pick same sex dialogue options. I guess that means they don't have anyone playing the game.

Sorry for the rage, but I don't understand this decision.

I guess that means they don't have anyone playing the game.

Actually, player numbers (and thus, potential credit buyer numbers) have gone up since the move to F2P according to the developers, so there are plenty of fish in that sea. This means there are also plenty of potential BW subscribers.
