Yep another new noob to HB

Ok I'm a newb noob when it comes to honor buddy. Just bought a 1 year this morning. I spent quite awhile reading tutorials and have a very basis of how I was to set HB up and such. Even got it questing.

However so many questions I have I can't seem to find answers to even using the search. Like exactly what and how does instance buddy work? That sorta thing. I have downloaded and installed what I think is the newest version of Honor buddy which is 2.0.0.4620 with the most recent horde questing profile. Questing is a bit buggy but it was explained to me that it'll get better in time.
Now does this version come with gather buddy and work automatically now. Didn't it used to be you have to get GB separately?

I'm sorry folks, But I'm gonna be a real noob for awhile around here. Please try to be nice.
 
If you buy HB you get GB 2 aswell. this is not the same as GB1. yes they used to be seperate, and still are. Instance buddy works best as a dps imo, you choose your self to be dps, like you normaly would in the LFG systems, and start the instance buddy, you either choose it to be random or specific instance (in the Bot-Settings on status page of HB).

Ty. And since I'm playing a 33 lvl mage atm, it'll just go into the instance with everyone else and fight? If so, will it do it you think without it looking like a noob pulling things before the tank and such? I just don't want to try it and someone immediatly yells. It's a bot!
 
No the bot detects the Tank (based on HP) and is following him.
If he pulls you target the current target of him and attack.
Its not afkable for me, because sometime he goes a direct way with adds or something like that

Again ty. Guess if things look a bit weird I can always quickly leave grp. lol. So I'm gonna go give it a try now.
 
Use the LazyRaider Bot (Search it) and the right CC (Combat Class) for the right thing.

You have to manually move but if you have the right CC it will do the DPS for you. This is the best thing when it comes to heroics+ at 85.
 
And now my HB won't Start up. Says I've used all my honor buddy sessions. Huh? I paid for a year.

When you pay for a year, you get X amount of sessions. Sessions are how many bots are running at once. Perhaps you are running too many bots.

I'm not sure about a year, but lifetime is 3 sessions of HB or GB.
 
I've only been running one toon, bot for awhile and then shut it all down becasause of RL things I have to do. Though I had restarted it a few times while I was questing. Don't like running it for too many hours on it's own.
 
Go to your task manager and see if there's already a HB running in processes & kill it.

Okay one more .. As all can see by my silly name here, it isn't one I'd have picked. The email I received after purchase told me to follow some links and then use this user name and the pw it provided and put it in the Link Shop account thing. Can that be changed to something else without messing with the bot?
