Its not impossible that we will get atleast a beta release the same day or the day after, its happend before. This is not a major patch, and not that much has changed, so once the HB team are confident its safe to use they will deploy it.

This is all just pure guessing from my side, with previous patches in mind.

Good thing that Wednesday raids are basicly the bigger part of SoO that we have on farm already, so if I suck, I can blame it on being to high :cool:
 
Usually the Bot comes only hours after the update, the PTR gives dev's time to work ahead of time. Besides, not much changes, You just tweak it to the newer patch and viola I suppose.

Im high, yes, that is correct :). But from a patch note point of view, nothing much has changed, but that does not say that stuff "behind the curtain" might not have changed, THAT is pure speculation. But with minor patches like this, usually there is not that big changes, atleast not to my knowlege.
 
Speaking of patch notes... I like this part.

Items

  • Players are now able to mail account-bound items to other characters that reside on a different realm on the same account. To send cross-realm mail: enter the character's name, followed by a hyphen "-", followed by the realm name. Note that cross-realm mail can only send account-bound items, not other items or gold.

I know that the next XPac will make them bound into a UI window accessible to all toons on the account, but at least we get the benefit of truly "account" bound items.
 
Im just hoping they dont shut down HB auth servers etc, since EU still have about 24hours before patch (= 1 more raid night for some), from the update status page I get the feeling they are doing this, but since Im at the office I cant check :/

Last time I played maually, LK( 25 HM pre-nerf) was at 10% when I hit the power off button.

Night all, HB will be dead when I wake. We will play catch up when they are back in business.

Play.... manually? *GASP* Blasphemer! Kill him! Kill him dead with fire!!!! :)

Though, "frugan" will be glad to see me leave the mancave for a couple of days :) (Frugan= Swedish for the litte woman)
 
I'm rather new to using HB, I'll post this here, instead of making a new thread.

The patch notes seem small, with not many crucial changes.

My Question is, is there an estimate on HOW LONG will HB be down, or should I say, when HB will be UP ? :)

Short answer: No

Long Answer: No, it will be released when the devs have had time to check that there are no hidden "snags", usually if it is a small "patch" a beta is released the same day or the day after... but one never knows. The good thing is that for once us euro-trash has a bit of an advantage since the patch hits the US before it hits us, so our "downtime" is usually shorter :)

0-5 days usually, depending on what Blizz changed to catch us. Like Slite62 said, for us EU folks there is a chance that we can have HB ready for wednesday nights raids, even if its a small chance, its still a bigger chance than the US folks having it ready for their first raid of the week :)

Thanks for all the feedback guys :) I'm a US player, I don't mind doing things manually for raids =P I only just recently realized how to use the DungeonBuddy for raids/dungeons~ so my skills for doing them manually is still fine ;)

Just using HB to level a few alts, and grind for some golds.

goal of 10 mil gold~
