Wtf!!! Input limit reached??

Also can you check if changing Hero resets it.

Poor Raphus is going to have to stay up all night adding Demonbuddy to Arelog.

Change to a new toon lets you play that toon. HOwever, switching back to the original doesn't unlock it.
 
My observations so far:
- Limits at 20-25 games (I lost count, lol).
- Relogging doesn't reset.
- Switching characters doesn't reset.
- Had my stopwatch running right after I get limited. It resets at around 3:30minutes.
 
I think we need longer profiles then. Like entire arreat+tower as 1 farming, fields of strife+siegebreaker as one and similar.
I dont think it would reduce gold / hour, although more likely that it mess up and it need to be able to read the random maps (dunno if it can that yet).
 
I got this just trying to log in to D3, maybe it's just a glitch.
 
Locked out at 1:10 MDT - after 17 runs.

Ill update when i get open a game again.

Update ** Looks like its a 5 minute block.

2nd update - played only ONE game after my 5 minute block and now i have reached my limit again.

Relogger = 20-25 Runs - idle 5 Minutes = risne and repeat = 5minutes break,.....(more human)

5minutes break is good to reset it, thanks god its not like wow you need to wiat like 30minutes

Someone just made a plugin that does this. might be worth checking into.

Does a Hero switch work or do you need to actually exit D3? I mean, can you farm on toon1 for 10 games and then toon2 for 10 games?
 
I wouldn't really level up 2 lvl 60s on the same account... :) maybe it is just an error? :)
 
Edit: Switching heros does not work. You are locked for the timer period from all toons on that entire D3 account.

I can mod my plugin to do 10-15 runs and then pause for 5 minutes or so.

Must have just been a fluke before.

Straight switch and logging then switch both do not let you start a new game.

Also, creating a new toon doesn't let you either. D:

edit: that is assuming you are already locked. Not sure if you switch every so often if it'll stop it from happening.

Duration of lock out is pretty short ~5 minutes it seems for me.

That would be great no1knowsy.
So after reaching the limit once can you do 20-25 runs again or does the limit trigger earlier?

Also someone please test if the error comes after 20-25 "longer" runs lets say 1:30m runs instead of 30sec runs? Cause that would make slighty longer profiles a really good choice as someone stated before in this thread.
 
I am sure it is about the same time they used in d2, so you can make about 20 games per hour or 3 min games, if you make more than 20 in the hour you get a temp ban for 5 mins. Get to many temp bans you get 15 min ban and then Realm down... time will tell....
 
My best guess is you can have around 15 active sessions then? And a session automatically closes after 10 mins. That's the most logical way to make it, and the numbers I come with are just my speculation from the numbers posted in this thread.
So you already start the timer for the first game when you start the first game.
 
Okay, so after said timer expires, if you create another game, and leave, do you get the timer again when you try to start another?
Because I did, and that is NOT a good sign for continuing short runs.

A more comprehensive questing through profile would be better, even if not full ACT I

After I got my first limit reach after ~25. I waited ~10 minutes then go 5 more session before another lock out.

All but 2-3 of the original were straight spam start and stop.
