WPF Plugin Example?

Hi,
Does anyone have a very simple Hello World type program that they could provide as an example to get WPF working, would only need a small sample, can't seem to get it working even with barely anything on it. Once I have a small sample I can easily work from that. Thank you if you can.

We originally wrote the Buddy Control Panel to be such an example. Alas, it suffered creeping featuritis, and is now very meaty. Perhaps, this article will be enough for your needs:

Both BCP and the article demonstrate WPF only. We have no examples that use XAML.
