So recently i noticed the same 6 core computer that i use to run 4 virtual machines, has been using FAR more CPU then it ever has , since wow updated.
I looked up each virtual machines processes and how much CPU they were using, and wow ALONE is using 49-55% cpu! Which is FAR too much when its normaly sapposed to go down to 5% to 15%.
I'm prety unsure why this is the case. It happends every time the game starts back up from either crashing or relogging, any time it opens back up its using 50% cpu again for atleast 5 minutes. This is horrible for my case because that much CPU is lagging all the other virtual machine clients and causes them to crash from too many stuck's/freezes, which in turn causes them to restart and are now also using 50% CPU for a good 5 minutes or so.
Does anybody have any clue as to why this is happening? Again, it goes back down to normal after a bit, but the issue for me is its causing me to use 100% of my CPU which as i said above causes the other VM's to lag badly and crash as well, beginning the loop again.
EDIT: Adding that i have lower then low settings on all clients (4 VM and 1 on main system) and FPS limited to 13 foreground and background.
EDIT2: The Culprit:
As you can see in the image below, 45% cpu is being spent on whatever the hell that is. I kill that specific process and im down to 2% to 10%, give or take small spikes here and there, but its always low now. UNFORTUNATELY, every time wow starts up, it has this process again
I dont know how to disable it permately or to auto kill that process automatically
You can only kill its process after you have connected to a server, otherwise it freezes the client. Once your at character select screen you can kill it.
