[WoW] Update 17-11-10

Ew, 4pm pst = 7 est :< I always hated waiting till 2 pm for servers, it worked out in the past cause I'd have class but now I just find a way to wake up at 2 on tuesdays :P
 
Do devs not have access to the PTR?

Not sure I understand why every addon author in the world has updates ready the day before/day of patch, and the HB/GB team takes 3-4 days. Addon authors don't even get paid.
 
omg why u need to make a thread dont u think HB GB doesend now this?
 
I just hope they check out that 600 meg patch before they turn it back on.
After loosing 3 accounts on glider may 08 to DUH we don't look there I want them to do it right.

Do you not realize how dumb that comment was. PTR's are not exactly the same as the released version there are added / removed things. If they went off only PTR version and for example Blizzard stuck some Anti-Hack protection in on the actual release, They would be releasing a detected version.
They have to check the changes in the wow code for hooks that would detect the bot.
 
what does a WOW addon have in common with an WOW Bot?

the first is xml or whatever, the second is 100.000 lines of code in c#/.net
 
It's lua, And addon's to update to another patch you usually only need to CHANGE ONE freaking line in it to the new wows revision... and its updated.
