WoW SoR - Require some help.

Hi,

So I recently purchased a SoR account, merged it and what not, accepted SoR. Account has the free game time and expansion, however, I cannot find how to boost a character, I clicked on "History" but only says:

"NOTE: Your Scrolls of Resurrection will display here only after they have been accepted."

For obvious reasons, I ain't going to put a ticket in regarding the matter, but it's been like this for over an hour, how long can it take? Anyone had this happen to them?

First time this has ever happened, and any help regarding this would be sweet.

If wrong section, or simply not allowed, I understand.
 
you need to accept the free gifts in battlenet then it will let u choose whch toon u want to boost to level 80
 
I did, I accepted it, but clicked skip claim now part, as I've done this before, and worked fine, but It now nothing is showing in history. I know it has SoR, as it says:

Game Time

Source: SOR2 Cataclysm/Free 7Day.

Also, from the account I sent the SoR invite from, says:

Your friend has accepted 7 days of free game time, but not "Complete" - Which is what it says once you've boosted a character.

So confusing, just hoping I am not getting screwed here :P
 
Nope, that's what I'm now stuck on, I went to boost the character, but has literally no option to do so.
 
Yeah, well, when I originally accepted it, It gave the 7 day time and cataclysm with the option of boosting a character now or skip it for now.
 
click on Scroll of ress then click on recieved invitations (in the new SoR Account)should have a claim button there.
 
Upon clicking on "Received Invitations" says:

This account is not eligible to use a Scroll of Resurrection. - This is because it has already been claimed.
 
oh sorry then m8 i have no idea cant find nothing on battlenet best bet might be see what the guys says u gt the SoR off these guys no pritty much everthing.

Call them, same issue got a guy on support to boost if they ask questions it will be only about the bnet as soon as its boosted i suggest transfer as the sor license usually gets banned mine did
 
Well, I am going to leave it until tomorrow, I want to avoid direct contact regarding it as much as I possibly can, I would love to be able to transfer it off once It gets boosted, I don't have that kind of money though.

I've only ever had 2 SoR, first one I got a rogue on, still have, and is all good, the other good banned like as soon as I hit 85 on it :P
 
Well, Blizzard banned it, I bought another, only it has the same problem, I don't know if it's like Blizzard flags accounts so they can't use the boost? It's just extremely weird, this time, I accepted, kept page up, made the character, refreshed, character showed up on boost page, I select him, but it did nothing but just redirect me back to account management. Seems like the odds are against me, I give up :P
 
In Order to get your 80 toon, you had to press "claim later" then create your desired toon, then claim and in the LAST step you get cata free. Basicly you claimed 7 Days cata, what you're not supposed to to.
 
No, please, that's completely incorrect. I have done it before, clearly something is off here, I posted on forums, and others have the same issue, and found post by Blizzard stating it isn't fully working right. Just means I now have to wait around for that.

Respond from ticket:

This is actually a known issue occurring with some accounts where the Scroll of Resurrection rewards do not appear to be claimable. We're having this issue looked into so that it can be resolved as soon as possible. :)

Sadly we're not able to provide these benefits manually in the meantime, as there's good chance it'll end up giving you two character boosts. While that does sound awesome (:P) it's not intended.
 
Anyway, I heard SoR Accounts get banned almost ASAP even if you're not botting, so why would you buy one anyway? Transfering the character on a safe account is the only purpose to this.
 
Well, I bought one last year, which I have an 85 rogue on and is still in good tact, never been question or anything over it, but then I bought another, which got banned, this was probably earlier this year, but just figured it was just random, but yeah, a$$hole Blizzard banned both accounts I recently obtained, thing is though, taking to blizzard is like talking to a damn monkey, and its a constant back and forth thing, as if they don't even read what you're saying.

I tried talking some bullshit that I used a different name, blah blah blah, went through like 3 people making some progress, as it seemed, this morning I get a response, saying the named doesn't match the account and I need to submit ID, bare in mind, this is what the first person said and then I replied with the different name thing, so seriously don't make any progress with Blizzard, and even with legit incidents, its like that. They need to start actually reading.

Anyway, you're completely right, no point buying them at all now, the show is over for it :P
