WoW crashing shortly after pressing start

Hey guys,

I noticed I'm not the only one that seems to be having issues today. After figuring out how to stop my AV software from dismantling HB, I now run into the issue of WoW crashing moments after I press start.

I was trying to use CB with one of Tuanha's CCs, and I'd barely move before the viewer would disappear and crash, then prompting HB's 20sec shut down. Several times this has happened to me today. I looked at the log, but I'm not sure what it could be. I'd appreciate some insight if anyone one feels free to share.

Edit: I also tried it using Singular, and while it took longer to happen, WoW still crashed. Adding the log from that session as well.

try changing wow to dx9 mode, you can do this via your wow graphic options.

Thanks for the tip, but switching to DX9 didn't solve the issue. Any other ideas as to what it could possibly be? Is there another kind of log I should provide?
 
if i ask you to try something and your still having issues, then i need a new log.
 
you could try using singular to see if that will help.
 
Up until this situation, I hadn't had any problems with ELV_Ui or Zygor. I had adjusted the settings of each during my original 3 day trial. However, I disabled them both, logged in, started HB/Questing and pressed start.

The moment it said the profile was ready, WoW crashed, and gave me a LUA error about "auto self cast." I closed WoW, which prompted HB's 20 sec shutdown, and HB crashed as well.

try Singular instead and let me know if still crashing plz
 
Trying to wipe the board as best as I could, here are the steps I took:

Cleared all caches
Ran Scan/Repair for WoW
Unistalled AV software
Unistalled HB
Reinstalled HB from zip file
Started WoW
Picked new server
Made fresh character
Disabled all addons
Started HB
Installed AV software
Whitelisted HB
Selected Kick's
Pressed start

I added no CRs, no plugins, no special profiles. New toon ran for a good five minutes before crash.

if you would please check and see if you have any graphic card updates available and get them installed please.
 
I have the newest driver, released on 11/20/2014. AMD Radeon HD 5700 series ver. 14.501.1003.0
 
i am running out of ideas :(


remove:
- microsoft .net framework 4 client profile
- microsoft .net framework 4 extended
- microsoft visual c++ 2010 x86 redistributable
- microsoft visual c++ 2012 x86 redistributable


restart your pc,
download the installationwizard https://www.thebuddyforum.com/attach...uddywizard-zip
run them as administrator.
after wizard installation is done, run windows update. And install all updates for .net & c++
restart
 
Hey Tony, an interesting thing happened before I got your message. I shut down the computer for a bit yesterday, and when I turned it back on, I had a flash update. So I updated it, restarted the comp, and figured I'd give it another shot. After doing my garrison on my lock, I ran a milling profile on professionbuddy. No problems. I closed HB, switched characters, restarted HB, and turned on questing for my rogue since he's in Northrend.

And it ran, until it timed out being hung up on a quest. I was using Singular. I dont' know how HB is coded, but it seems like somehow flash was the issue. I'm going to test it a few more times, while using one of Tuanha's CR and let you know what happened.
 
Yeah. It's definitely working again. Not sure what if it was the flash or not. I have a few graphical issues in WoW now, but they're minor and I'll work those out later. Thanks for you all your help, guys.
