Ive been trying to fix this issue all day now and still no luck. I searched through all the forums and couldn't come across a fix that worked.

Whats happening is I log into wow and get on the chara I wanna use. Then I go to start up HB, log in, and as soon as it boots up the wow client will freeze and close, then HB will say sync lost.

Oh, and some times my wow will simply crash and give me a error.

Thank you.

Code:

I know UAC is disabled, but run hb as admin
make sure wow is in windowed mode
wow is not minimized
using d3d9 in config.wtf file (in your wow folder)

if all of these fail, try running wow.exe and hb.exe (both together) as admin. I have UAC off and I rarely have to do this with any program, so I know where you're coming from

Every fix you just said, Ive tried.

I ran both as admin, wow is windowed and not minimized.

I am set to d3d9 (in game)

delete Instancebuddy from "Bots" folder

I deleted instance buddy and tried again. No luck. Wow client still froze up and said:

you can do that through the control panel, but it's easier to just reinstall it with tony's link (the dark black test is a link)

sometimes ppl have .net 3.5 but it isn't the right one, or it's not working properly. Or did you click the link and it said it was up to date?

I clicked the link and it error'd out trying. I cant download a new version of framework.

I tried using Gatherbuddy and it just doesnt even start up. Just sends an error message.

when Hb or Gb crashes on startup its 95% that is something wrong with your net framework
try to reinstall

I tried the framework tools, both the clean up and the other one suggested by Tony in a different post. Still nothing.

go at your control panel-programs-turn windows features on and off and check what net framework version you can see and if net framework is enabled

I looked and saw Network Frameworks 3.5.1 with a black box, not a check mark. And if I look at the files inside it, there are 2 and they are unchecked.

The two unchecked options are 'Windows Communication Foundation HTTP Activation'
and 'Windows Communication Foundation Non-HTTP Activation'

Should I check one?
