ehh, i'm sorry thats what i meant. each class, toons, turds whatever :-)

On the topic, Yes, Paid CC is good

Personal opinion :
i know HB/GB is consider cheap compare to other bot. I also heard GB LifeTime entitle for free paid-plugin. I personally believe GB LifeTime owner should entitle paid-CC and paid-profiles.

Raise the product price by 10 or 20 or 30 usd, but please provide all support, official HB-paid-cc , official HB-paid-profile, official HB-paid-plugin, maintained and updated by official HB crew.

HB is a great product, amazing bot program that mysteriously undetectable by GM(no banwave yet)... only downpoint is HB not noob-friendly...
sell the bot to me higher price but i want the bot run like install>run>load setting>customize here and there abit>let it run wow 24/7

i know its still to soon but i have great faith HB will become noob friendly in future. I will support HB as it is now.

I willing to pay more for officially supported material.

In 8 days, my CC has been downloaded over 800 times. If I received just $1 per download ..... :D

The point is...I'm currently using one of your CCs. But as I said I wouldn't donate until the toon is lvl 80.
Because in the moment I download it I don't know if this CC will work on all levels and so on

easily so
the faster i can get a character leveled or more efficient farming is the more money im gonna get on botting

Is there a way that forces users to click let's say 5 adds before they're able to download? So the CCs would be free for us and the developers would get some money

I would pay for a thoroughly planned, developed, fully tested and completely polished CC that was completely customizable, and had zero "major" bugs, very few "minor" bugs, and that made my bot look like a human was playing (don't stand in the fire!). It would have to be 100% completely plug-n-play. I don't want to edit XML files. I haven't seen any of this quality yet.

As a C# developer myself, I really do enjoy going in to the .cs and tweaking things as I see fit. I've found improvements to be made on anything from targeting, to rotations to when to heal, etc on nearly every CC I've tried to date. PVP is different from grinding, which is different from RaF healbotting.

All the current CC's are good, but none are great and they're all very far from perfect.

If you find a CC like that let me know, and *I'LL* pay for it. But what you're refering to would take a considerable amount of time and would cost more than $5.

I've voted No.

Why: IMHO if you use and appreciate the work you donate out of free will, even if only a buck or 2.

Charging for something also brings obligations and expectations along with it.
Besides that I think it would kill the last bits of public released stuff.
Then everyone is gonna start charging for their work, and that would be more or less the end of this community.

I'm not botting to earn on it, to sell gold, items for real money, whole accounts etc.
I bot for private use and that's never gonna change (because after all I bot on my main account, so I'm more carefull with what I do).
I supply my guild with the means to raid trough botting raw materials for example.

I've donated for work released in the past when I use it, and I will donate in the future when I use something intensively.
Profiles I make myself for personal use, I don't need to buy em.
And every once in a while I release something on the forums, either a profile, or a (updated) plugin etc.
It's a matter of give and take, and finding the right balance between this (hobby), work and your private life.

Either way just my opinion.
Regards, Liquid.

I just dont have any extra money to shell out b/c i'm a high school student. But I think some people need to pay i.e. some of the people that cant even install the damn CC .

FPS, how many donations overall have you received?

That is not something I'm prepared to disclose.

EDIT: But every cent that has been donated has been spent on WoW accounts in order to continue / further developemnt.

Once a community turns into $$ it always gets old fast. So i voted no plus the default ones never fail me :) more power to ya tho

Releasing it and accepting donations seems like a better thing to, and the forums is a good spot for support if one person has a problem usually someone can help him get it fixed.

I would have to vote no mainly because i'm in high school and can't pay for much atm. Hard to find jobs around here because there are lots of kids that live here.
heres the thing, at least if i where going to do it, i understand sometimes you cant. i would at least give breaks or discounts you know? lifes hard enough and making someone pay X amount for a bot then more for better upgrades is a shitty tactic, but we all need to make money i devote countless hours a day responding to people making CC updates writing plugins, and i dont even have enough cash to take a girl out on a date. thats pretty bad. considering i like what im doing now. ive even tried ways of monitoring without resorting to donations or payed upgrades or updates but an ad-supported CC, only brings in pennies a month. so while i understand why people are voting no, just know at least i have always tried to keep the costs out of your pockets, even if that means ill never i wont have a chance at asking out that hot girl that works at Mc Donalds.

well, i suppose just adding a link to your paypal as i have seen some do.

cc stands for crowd control am i right? of course ill pay for your godly ccs :)

And that is what I have the issue with, people don't want to read (even 2 posts up) to find a solution to their problem, they want you to hand it to them! All the common answers are in the first post or the FAQ (2nd post) yet people rarely read it. THAT is what pisses me off.

Its already there, and people do occasionally donate.

In this context, CC stands for "Custom Class". If you were refering to CC in-game (WoW) you would be refering to crowd control.

While I'm unlikely (not impossible) to ever make this a PAID ONLY CC I am more than happy to accept donations. And all donations go directly towards continuing development and WoW subscriptions. I will never provide an "Ad-paid" system.

Honestly, I would have to see how the quality control will work. Right now, that doesn't exist with HB releases, so I would be very hesitant to pay for a CC or profile with the track record HB has had.

The quality of the CC has nothing to do with the quality of HB.
