This thread isn't to call him out on his pricing or anything. I am just genuinely curious if the Archebuddy community would shell out 63USD for a plugin to a bot we have already paid for.

I sent Bossrus a PM and asked him about how much his Universal Flight plugin would be and he said maybe(not a definite answer) 50 euros. To me, that just seems a bit outrageous but I really have no say in the matter.

edit: To clarify I'm looking forward to the release of his plugin.


edit2: If you choose not to pay 50euro, how much WOULD you pay? 20? 30? 40?

phelon has contributed some amazing stuff, so i'd just wait for phelon to complete his new plugin rather than paying 50euro's.

not judging bossrus though, he put in all the work back then and if he gets people to buy it, i'm more than happy for him.

Pay twice the cost of the bot for something that should be supported out of the box... And this is how this bot will fail.
 
You know how to get his plugin for like 5-10 Euros?

here's what you do.

Let abusers like him in the dry sand, he's exploiting the fact we don't have a Current Universal Fighter and REquest HUGE ammount of money for it.
Wait for someone to release some competion (which hopefully will do it for Cheap/Free) and then he WILL need to lower the price or he will not earn shit :).

I tried to message him for help because his post didn't make sense to me when it said "wishing to participate in betatest - in pm nick in the store". Do not know who Nick is and couldn't find a way to PM in the store. So I sent him a PM trying to get help.. all i got back was read the forum... I read the damn forum.. you make no sense to me, when I told him i don't see where to PM in the store all i got back was a link to the store..... Yeah.. makes sense now! /sarcasm. Obviously there is a misunderstanding between him and myself with the language. So if i did purchase his plug-in I don't want to have the same issue and be shit out of luck with money wasted.

Besides that I don't know if he tries to come off as a jerk or if again its just the language.. i assumed hes a jerk because i got near to no help so I decided to just pass on the plug-in and give my money to someone that wants to be helpful with their plugin. Not even going to fool with the hassle.
 
I don't see anyone paying 50 Euros for something that has already been released through different plugins.

Considering the Bot is being sold for 25€, the highest a plugin should be sold for is 5€, in my opinion. A small addition to a existing program can't be valued twice as much as the program.

The only way I would 'eventually' go up to 10€ in price is if it had the following features:
- create its own path, no recorded points (both detects and avoids obstacles, smooth walking)
- detect special objects (like boss spawned safe zones in dungeons, special boss attacks and avoids them)
- Anti-KS (If a mob has already been tagged, leave it)
- 1v1 Battleground support (maybe, would be interesting)
- Change Spot after X hours/minutes (eg. has 3 locations saved, let it move from one to another after a set amount of time)
- Easy to use and set up interface

You demand 50€? Then get to work and make it worth 50€.
 
as the plugin is atm , no im not , but if he fix it and enchance it i will gladly pay for it , but still a bit toughy ammount of money :D
 
Stay tuned for the community edition from Phel0n. There is more heart and soul/effort put into it than one that is created for greed/money purposes in my honest opinion. Not to mention Phel0n has not disappointed in the past with his work so he is also more trustworthy and established in this community. Donate and support to him if you really want a grindbot release. Also please note I am not affiliated with Phel0n in any manner, this is not an advertisement, just honest opinion and feedback.
 
You know, if you sold this bot for £5, you would make MORE money that you would selling it for 50.
 
not even the owner of the bot should allow it, if bot isn't functional after buying, requiring more purchases, it will make other bots alternatives quality/price more attractive.
