Hey, I purchased the gatherbuddy 30 days subscription last night to level my mining / herbalism to 450. All of the profiles I have found to do so are extremely horrible and get stuck, run into walls for hours. It's actually faster to do it myself. I would like to cancel my subscription and get refunded my money minus the 1 day (not even 1 day) I used it.

Please, a moderator / admin. Get back to me.
 
There is a reason it's called a bot. It does the work for you so you don't. You get to do stuff IRL that you couldn't when hand grinding.
 
Faster to do it yourself? You must not have it working properly then. Have you read the forums and manual on how to use it properly? It clearly will not work if you just go pressing buttons. Best of luck to you.
 
it doesn't do the work, I've tried the profiles on these forums, my character is always getting stuck in a tree or running into a cliff for HOURS. It's not doing the work at all. I don't care how long it takes to do it, my problem is it's not doing it at all. My herbalism skill went up 5 points and mining 2 points over the span of 3 hours 15 mins.
 
Also yes, I've watched the video and read the manual.pdf (same as the video) =/
 
Well since u sayed u havn't used it for one day yet.
I Highly doubt you configured the profiles the good way.
Since My Gatherbuddy does stuff I'd never do... If u like to farm 10 Hour a day to get some money for tomorrows raid, go ahead and do it urself :P.

But I'm not here to say what you should do or what you shouldn't do.
I'd say u could try it out for atleast a week and get help on the setup and report ur bugs/glitches and stuf.
Before u take fast conclusions saying that the profiles are horrible. Those people offend some of the greatest profile creators around the forum. But I'm not blaming u for that since I know how it feels to set it up and after 3 Hours come back with only 1 ore in your bag because he had been flying against a mountain for 3 hours...
 
Ya i'm not trying to be a prick or anything, I've just tried the (few) profiles available for mining / herbing 75- 100 or 150 I believe. I have no skill in making a profile myself as I'm new to this whole thing and I figured if there were more leveling profiles, they would have posted in those repsective sections.

Maybe someone has some better ones available?
 
I'll admit it took me a few hours to find profiles I liked that did what I wanted them to do. but once I found them I fell in love and the addiction began.

EDIT: Yeah most of the best profiles are focused on the 300-450 skill level for making gold. At-least this is what I have found out.
 
I know once I get to 300 and I can fly, the automated gathering becomes way less glitchy since you can fly. I'd just like some solid profiles on getting there with both herbing and mining.

Use Honorbuddy to ground farm, Gatherbuddy to fly farm... it has been said a million times.

Why not create your own profile instead of using someone elses work? Then you can make a perfect route.

Yet Another "waaaa, i clicked start and it didnt work perfectly for me" thread.
 
I agree there does need to be more low level mining profiles. I have yet to find any good horde copper ones to level with that actually work well like most of the higher level ones do.

Honorbuddy to ground farm huh. Hmm. Sounds like that's what I need. Also with the profile thing, I have no clue on how to create my own. Does anyone know if I can switch over to Honorbuddy from Gatherbuddy?
 
I understand your not trying to be a prick, but it would have helped if you asked someone. You cant know the bot after 1 day. If you had read you would have known that GB is best for flying mounts. Doesnt work so well with ground mounts. HB is best for low level herb/mining.

GB is an amazing program along with HB. If I were you, I would think about your decision.
 
Ya I apologize for the noobness, I am rethinking my decision right now as I just checked out the Honorbuddy profession profiles. If possible I would like to switch my subscription over to Honorbuddy.
 
Frankly, just level to 300 yourself, it'll take a few days max if you don't have a spare afternoon to grind it up. After that, leave gb to do its work, you'll hit 450 fast, and never want to cancel after you see the income you can make whilst you sleep.. Youc an make countless alts, buy choppers, pets, rare items.. Without having to do any work or risk gold buying bans which are far more likely than botting ones..

Also, you'd have to pm him and wait a day or two for a response, tad longer if he's busy or still on holiday.
