Wortham Merchant Rare Quest

does +exp gear help with the exp you get from quests? is it worth loading up on all my +exp % gear for this?

No. Quest EXP is fixed to your current level. So at LVL 70 its 140k gold and xmil EXP.

Lower levels = lower exp and gold

I guess I'm not too sure what the hype is about this, could it be the enormous XP gains and not the GPH? Also, a side question, do I get the same XP gains on this quest if I were say... lvl60? In other words, can I level a character this way to 70 and still get the same amount of XP (and gold) or is it nerfed since lower level char?

Also, wouldn't this be a BIG red flag with the games per hour trying to exploit this little quest? I duno if it'd be wise to run this for any reason other than by hand.

you get 140k Gold at lvl 70 for basically running up and down some stairs, then remake takes no effort. Running T1 gets tiring (for me anyway after hours of play).
As far as I know, Rakki's Crossing on adventure mode is practically the same as this quest. People have been spamming that quest for near a week and Blizzard hasn't done anything yet

So I ran this quest for about 1hr and 2 minutes,

I gained 3M gold and even got one legendary (no idea how I obtained a legendary, perhaps killing something on the way?)

This is a much better rate of GPH than doing T1 legendary road (full) farming which for me was around 960k GPH.

you probably got the leg from the chest that spawns
 
Crusader Hardcore here,

The profile just starts game and then exits again in town. Without moving anywhere. Isn't he supposed to take the WP to see if the merchant is there?

PS Im running this on Master and not Torment 6 since i dont have access to that.

Are you running on T6 @ 70?
'cause I got one quest completion just now and it was the usual 18mil, 120k.


On another note, so RNG based it's crazy ^^
One char has gotten the quest 3 times in an hour, another has gotten it 24 times.
