Is botting still worth it for making $$$? I was under the assumption the RMAH change killed it basically. I see the forums are still active, so I assume it is mostly people botting for better gear for their own account?

The problem is that people are greedy and they will not really tell you the answer because they dont want more competition...
But yes you can make money but you have to figure it out yourself how :rolleyes:
 
alot of people are just buying cheap keys then selling accounts with 70 of each char etc

Heh, I can understand that. I quit botting a year ago when it seemed like unless you had dozens of bots it wasn't worth it anymore. I just assumed with the RMAH dead and with the BoA item changes in RoS there was no way in hell you could bot anymore because you can't sell good items or gold. As the poster above said, leveling accounts to 70 and selling them seems like the only viable method.

Guess it depends on why you are botting. If you enjoy playing the game and just want some new shiney overnight then bot away. If you like playing the game but don't like leveling characters and would prefer to work on gear then bot away.

If you just trying to make a quick buck... well go get a job I guess!
