Worth buying another copy after ban?

So the account I've been playing on that got banned 2 days ago is about 2 or 3 years old. I was planning to just play/bot casually until legion & gather up gold over time, but I happened to get banned over something stupid.

I'm just wondering, because I have no experience of multiple WoW's on a single account, if it's worth adding another game-key to my account, or will it get banned very quickly if I bot since the other (WOW1) was banned?

unfortunately only you can decide if it's worth it or not..

if you think you can do better.. & won't be upset if another ban comes.. by all means go for it..

Yes but I mean, is it my IP they save, or is it related to my account, or is it independant? Or is this information nobody knows?

Do I have a higher risk of being banned again if I buy another key for my current account or is it better if I create a new one that isn't tied to my current e-mail.

Alright, I will probably get a new account/base game & RaF with a friend.

What's funny is that I didn't even get banned for botting. There was an exploit 2 days ago regarding server transfer & pandaria treasure chests, a lot of people did it, I just wanted to see if it worked, did it for like 30 min and got 5k (not a lot, lol). Such a waste, got banned for 6 months and my appeal was turned down, but ohwell, I didn't get banned in the banwave in may so I guess I take the punch this time.
