Im using questing to bot while im home, at night i mostly use grinding bot.
 
Just reported a bot myself, i don't mind the odd bot normaly.
but when your botting bgs at lvl 81 with gear from lvl 25-30,
seriously, then your begging to be banned.
 
Im grinding a druid up and he`s been running for the last 3 days now. I check on him every so often to see what goodies he has picked up. Got myself an azure whelpling today so it all depends on how comfortable you are. Its my second account to purely farm so do what ya gatta do to get er done. Without risk there will be no reward!
 
i'm on my monk right now and hes been running many hours straight. right now i'm 88, and i think ill schedule the bot now, b/c grinding mobs for 24hrs in a row cant be too good. ;D
 
I tend to Quest while away, since it looks find just a guy running around questing, However the quest bot seems to run into alot of problems so i tend to set it for Grinding to get away from that level. I Find you wont ever quest that long anyhow or grind that long I have been using the bot for about a week now and i encounter many BUGs and the bot shuts off or wow shuts off or something of the sort.
 
Honestly after having botted a decent amount since purchases honor buddy I find that I believe it to be ok to run honor buddy for up to 20 hours. After that I would log it off even just for a few hours because remember you want to look real and humans DO sleep. If your at the same spot for 24 hours + you are just asking to be reported.

Personally I use rarekiller while I bot and respond to any inquiries about my behavior to keep reports down.
 
If you are trying to bot and sell gold i highly recommend you to get a "bot account". I have one my self and, i let it run for 12+ a day, and don?t need to worry at all :)

But don?t bot on anything you aren't ready to loss. Because someday you will :)
 
^^^^ what he said if ur a member of the botting community you have no right to report someone else. ive thought of it myself b4 but if they are being dumb reg players will report them anyway so let them be.
 
I highly recommend using ARelog if you are botting for long periods of time. Switching characters and profiles. It really does make like much easier.
 
Experienced botters run for no less than 24 hours and new botters get banned for botting less than 12 hours a day.

So much this. I run 24/7 no matter what.(even If I am away for 3 days and cant look into the bot)

It's all about knowing how not to be reported, and not being on a server where people do witchhunts for botters.
 
I just finished a 45 hr non stop session, only stopped coz of DC 24/7 still alive haha
 
iv'e been botting for 5 days now.. but im not botting to get gold. Im only going for high lvl chars =)

Well if the guy was running the same path as me in a bg i think i would also report him afk all bg bots use the same mesh he would be a dead give away to other botters who try to stay undetected.
There is no reason for him to be in low gears even if raf acc hes just bringing it on top for other botters dont be so naive calling him out for reporting a idiot wrecking it for others.

Your trying to stay "undetected" just gives Blizz info on botters. Blizz looks a pathing, behaviors, & a lot of other shit that we have no idea. Reporting a botter just gives Blizz more info, which they use to build better detection & possible legal ammo against HB & other bot companies.

Reporting your fellow botters is in no way helpful.
 
Herbing and Mining stupid to bot more then a few hours US. Grinding in wow other then pandaria is a ban. Grinding in pandaria is fine have multiple toons grinding various areas forr months.

I herb/mine for 5 hours, fish for 10, grind for 9

AFK bans are 3 hrs and automated maybe he would learn his lesson
 
im a fire fighter so gota stay on station 2 days at a time heh. leave my bot on the whole time :P no bans here. (gathering)

im quite shocked i havent been banned to be honest lol.

You should just set up a good botting schedule with HBRelog and monitor it, check in every couple of hours VIA teamviewer or something similar.
