Worth botting for more than 12 hours?

How long do you normally run your bot a day?

That's subjective. I bot 24/7 and it's extremely worth it. With my main account, no less. Maybe it's playing for fire...but then again, if you are worried about losing your account, you shouldn't bot at all.
The most sound advice.
It's 100% true as well.

Well tbh topics like these are stupid.
It's not like there's an answer to how many hours you can bot a day, without risking a ban, yet coming here for a sense of false hope, trying to get the golden number is stupid - there is none. You could bot 1 hour a day, and with badluck be banned anyways.

Obviously theres a greater chance at 20 hours a day, but you already new that..

when i bot on my main acc i never bot for more than 5 hours at a time,
on my other acc i'm always setting it to have a 20 mins break when 5 hours past, and then relog.

Edit:
i now bot 15-20 hours a day on my three alt accounts, and i keep my new main acc clean.

I think it depends on what you'r doing. i just got done botting my self a rogue to 85, i ran it none stop for 5 days with no problems. but when mining/herbing or farming i would say 5 on 1 off is a good raito set your self up with some HBrelog. :)

I'm finishing up a Druid today or tomorrow. I was thinking of doing a Rogue next. Do you mind if I ask what spec and CC you used? Horde or Alliance?

If your questing with the right setup you can bot for 12 or more with minimal suspicion. Things like Grinding and PvPing may be pushing it.

my main account has been online for the last 3 months none stop. Unless I'm raiding (Lazyraider is bad, so play that myself) I've levled up 7 alts to 85 with kicks from 1-85. 2 chars farmed full pvp set, 100+hours of GB in uldum/vashir, fathom eel fishing etc. made roughly 1mill gold. no warning/ban yet. Love you hb <3

I'm not him, but I'm humming along right now with Assassination spec and using wRogue. Ally toon on a PvP server. Only problem is keeping Autoequip from putting something other than daggers on you. wRogue works with Sub and Combat as well.

For the topic, I'm on a HBrelog schedule, but it ends up with me botting 12-15 hours/day.

I bot 24/7, but I also have auto equip, talented, log me out, and shut up configured. Also I have team viewer set up on my phone so i can monitor my bot when I am at work (i work full time). I havent had a problem at all no bans what so ever. when I Was making gold to buy the mats for the vial of sands mount I farmed 24/7.

I think it comes down to how careful you are.

i bot 24/7 when questing. Never been banned for it. Just stay away from grinding as much as possible

Grinding rep ~14 hours per day. And then I play for myself for 10h per day.

No ban yet.

Farming ores 16h/day everyday on several accounts IN ULDUM. Not a single ban yet.

Leveled my pala almost 70% of 1 week 1-85 which makes it around 15-16 hours per day on average.

been botting around 16-19 hours then take a break for 5-6 hours and then go again, i do that on 7 accs
