Worried about being banned

I'm afraid I might be banned from players making complaints of my bot. I usually leave my bot on every night and that gives players plenty of time to report me. I read on worldoftanks.com that if a player is reported enough for botting then their account stats may be looked over by game staff. If they notice that the stats are low in certain areas or just uneven they may ban the players account. That sounds silly to me because a player might just not be that great at the game. I know this bot is undetectable but I'm worried I could be banned for the shear number of complaints towards my account. The bot tends to get stuck and people are starting to tell the difference in movement and behavior of the tank. Anyone else getting a lot of threats from players?

it's simple you are botting it is against the eula and you should always understand and accept the risk of a ban before you start. That being said I can understand this bot is so easily detected it could be reported time and time again. But most players are lazy and will not take the time to investigate or report you and if you do ooh well new account more prem back to trying again.

hm but i would like to know how high are the reports and the banrate of this bot - sure if i read here people using bot 100 days 24/7 its sure they are dedectet but i used the bot aroud 3-4 days 4 only 6 hours but i am really afraid to use it anymore as long there is no way to implement the new game mode and so the bot runs stupid because of wron waypoints -.-

From what I've heard from various sources (including some close to Wargaming), you'd need to bot for a very, very long times, ie 2 weeks plus pretty much non-stop and gather multiple reports every game in order to get banned. Of course, this is all speculation, and you can never really put your finger on it, but the amount of actual bans appear to be pretty low, at least on premium accounts. We bot several accounts with premium ourselves, and they have multiple tier 10 vehicles on them and have been going for months, so from a personal experience I can say the odds aren't very high. Having said that, botting is against the EULA, and they could change their policies at a moment's notice, so it's never 100% safe. Just don't bot 24/7.

You shudnt be afraid of getting banned. A bot are like a normal player. Only that bots move's with the mouse, = You dont know if its a bot or a normal player. Aswell.. And i used Honorbuddy in 5days--= 148' Hrs or something :P And and I didnt get banned.

I been boting in 1half year now. And havn't 1 Warning.

U only have to know how / Where to use bots.

So dont be affraid ;)

There is always a risk of being banned no matter how careful, or how long you have been botting. I bot as a hobby and after 6 years of botting I have had accounts banned in various games, goes with the territory. You can't say "i'm super careful so i'll be safe", it just doesn't work like that, i've botted accounts 24/7 for months with no problem at all. Others I only botted a couple of hours a day non AFK and have been banned within weeks. Mind you I have 5 Wow accounts all with minimum 10 max lvl characters on each, and millions of gold. I did lose my original vanilla wow account, something I still regret. Don't bot on anything you are not prepared to lose.

As far as World of Tanks goes, imo I would only be worried about the player reports for un-natural looking play (however many it takes which is all speculation). When I was using TL and there are only a few tanks left on your team and you're still alive, you know half your team is watching you play - do you think it looks like a person playing and are you willing to risk it? Your call entirely.

It's like not paying for your train ticket; odds are you won't get caught but you know what you're doing is illegal.

Some good advise is just don't stay in 1 place too long. That's the best thing about Archaeology bot, it travels the whole continent. I'm pretty conservative with my botting, but I have botted 18 hrs/day before. As long as you are bouncing locations enough, you minimize the chance of someone finding you. It's pretty basic stuff that you learn in action movies... fanatic bot hunter is looking for you, you: A) stay in 1 place? B) move from place to place getting crap you need?

BG botting has come a long way from a year/2 ago. A safe strategy I use, is wait for CTA weekend. That way you have less chance of being around the same people. AV weekend is my favorite b/c so many noobs that people dont know if you are a bot or retarded and people like to zerg or whatever on AV weekend.

gl with your botting. :)

Yeah but I don't stand on the train jumping up and down saying "I DON'T HAVE A TICKET, I'M DOING SOMETHING ILLEGAL!!" If that's the analogy to be used, if a bot doesn't look like a player it makes you stick out like a fare evader, jumping up and down shouting "I DON'T HAVE A TICKET!!".

more like the WC are ocupied so u cant hide from the conductor :P

and thats happends every 10th game? shit happends, u know how it works and u can use it if u like, if u dont wanna gamble with your account dont bot.
Not like u payed 250EURO for the bot, its like month of premium u payed for it, well used cash if u ask me.

as they are active and fix the problems with the bot they can fix fast, they probably will fix the other stuff in time also.

(sorry for my bad gramma!)

bot will never look like an human - otherwise there are humes playing that worse that u can think its a bot....

the simple thing, is that in that game "cheating" is from the technical view impossible - so u only can use bots and in that way returned the bot cannot be detected by the game - the only way is, that other players report u and i think that u had to get millions of reports before anything is happen out from the simple reason that there are lot of kiddies reporting players because they can only -.-

So there won't be a ban so fast i think -.-

Here's how the reporting works, it is a 2 week cycle, so if you have crap loads of botting reports in 2 weeks, then yes you will be called out, my advice is find a suitable time to bot, preferably late in the evening or early in the morning try to monitor the chat in game, as soon as someone comments, comment back, this will basically !$!@$# the report completely up and people will not report bot but rather "unfair play" which is not really looked at at the moment to be honest.

Ideal botting senario:

Bot 1 week early in the mornings for 4 hours (6am - 10am CET)
or
Bot 1 week after 12pm for 6 hours till the server resets

then give it a break for a week.

this is my scenario and I can tell you I get a max of about 10s bot reports a week, 9 of which come from 3 people.........

and bare in mind, its what you bot with as well, high tiers you are looking for trouble, top tier players can spot a bot a mile away, my advise don't exceed tier 8.

Good luck, if you have had a botting warning from WG, don't bot for awhile, you are on a watch list and you game scripts are being captured.
