World of Warcraft Loses 1.3 Million Subscribers

Most of them "lost" subscriptions would be Goldfarmers (bots) even blizzard admits most of them are from the East/china.

Dang that's ballsy of them to get rid of that many accounts. Though if they were botters that would mean they would just get more accounts which it seems they didn't since they specifically say "lost" accounts.

Panda wow is sorta lame... I definitely thought cata was way cooler.

I liked killing the Lich King better than that stupid dragon. I LOL when I read SDs comment that they were all farmers. :-)

Don't worry it's not like they just lost $19,500,000 a month or anything... oh wait. They just did.

its really bad for us the gold farmers ... but ok for othere ppls that us bot normaly

It's good since they need to be more thoughtful about bans against bots. Otherwise the share-holders will be upset and that is worth way more to them than a couple of kids crying about bots.

1.3 mill lost yeah, but still 8mil + paying monthly AND still the number 1 MMO by far after almost 10 years. I dont think they are hurting to bad. I don't bot for money anymore after my accounts got banned, but I do still bot for fun (rep, mounts, personal gold etc.) so as far as I am concerned they can lose a few more million and I will still sleep at night.

They've lost 2.2 million subs since the release of MoP. If I were Blizzard and hemorrhaging subscriptions like this, I would probably say they were banned gold farmer accounts as well. Cata/MoP have just been boring expansions with too many changes. GC is Blizzard's #1 enemy IMHO.
