Work in progress World Quests

First.......awesome work and loving it.

I read through the thread and couldn't find a answer but is there currently a way to skip a non-soloable WQ?

You are right - it is missing from the instructions - I will get Zinner to add asap.

the autoloader has 2 lines in it:

<CustomBehavior File="RunCode" Type="Definition" Code="bool doDanger = true;" /> <!-- change FALSE to TRUE to let the bot do DANGER World Quests -->
<CustomBehavior File="RunCode" Type="Definition" Code="bool doWanted = true;" /> <!-- change FALSE to TRUE to let the bot do WANTED World Quests -->

Change true to false for each. The SVN version comes with them both true - as that is what we are testing with.

Thanks for the quick reply!!!!!!!!

Getting an error, saying nothing more to do at this moment in time...

I am getting this every time now, even if I clear cache correctly. Happens no matter where I start the autoloader (Dalaran, Dalaran hearthstone spot, any other zone, etc).

This is a temporary workaround I am using:

1. Go to a zone
2. Look for a World Quest
3. Load that specific quest profile
4. Start the bot
5. Stop the bot
6. Load the autoloader

Seems to start running after that, and keeps going from quest to quest. Not sure how long it will work, but I am watching now.

Bot stopping! Reason: Nothing more to do.
Hotkeys: Removed!

I also used a different auto loader version during the same session and it worked fine for me.

I have attempted to delete cache, reboot, fresh install of both HB and Profile. It seems like I can run the profile 5-10 times in a row without issue then it goes through a roughly 24 hour period where I cannot run the profile. That might sound wierd and I agree that cache could be causing it, but I cannot find any other cache folders. To show what all I am removing and prove I am following the instructions listed in the standard support forum you have been linking.

Here is my script for cache deletion and log from HB showing it fail and then work with another loader in the same session.View attachment 10704 2016-09-20 01.18.txtView attachment ClearCache.txt

Great script - I will use it myself. Not sure what to tell you - if it works 4/5 times ok - then it isnt the profiles. The cache clear has worked for me every time. Maybe a reboot!? Maybe temp files? no clue really, sorry.

The Drekirjar Return runs into a lot of trouble. Runs into the cave and gets stuck killing imps, doesn't leave after completing.

thank you for this bit of awesomeness. some are not that smooth but still way better than when i ahve to do them all solo

If the bot opens and closes the map I just do the WQ he is closest to by hand.
Works for me every time :P

Back to the Shadows seems to pull too many mobs (read 3-6), i've done it with both my hunter and shaman, both died at least 3 times trying to complete the quest.

That would be a Routine issue and not a profile issue.

Which Routine are you using?

Using TuanHAs CRs currently, it's more that my character is running into aggro range of the mobs rather than pulling, sorry bad wording in the other post. I've minimized AoE on the profiles, so i don't pull everything, but this is what my log looks like:

[09:44:05] [You died.]
[09:46:44] [You died.]
[09:50:33] [You died.]
[09:53:08] [You died.]

[10:00:18] Back to the Shadows completed.

Try to load the autoloader with Singular and report the issue again if you have the same behaviour

I got a very annoying problem.. I thought its my installation so I cleaned all caches and got a new HB folder. But it didnt change sadly, feels even worse actually.

I start the autoloader in Highmountain.. he loads aszuna, well, thats too bad but fine. Problem is, he completely ignores flight masters and wanted to walk all the way down there.
He even passed a new flight master i didnt discover yet, he completely ignored it and also he doesnt use flight master whistle nor already known masters to fly somewhere.. Kinda makes the profiles un-usable for me sadly :/

The problem here is that these profiles are meant for someone who has already got the flight paths. Take the time to grab them as the bot is running past - then you will be fine - you should have most from the 100-110 quests.

Quick fix for deleting cache etc.

I see some people are either annoyed or uncomfortable deleting cache on a regular basis - here is what I did.

Create a file in notepad, save it as a name that makes sense - mine is hb_launch.cmd and is on my desktop.

Content of the file should be something like this (change the paths to echo your environment)

Code:
echo "SVN updates"
svn update d:\games\hb3\wq
svn update d:\games\hb3\routines\TuanHADeathKnightLegion
svn update d:\games\hb3\routines\TuanHADemonHunterLegion

echo "Deleting cache"

erase "d:\games\hb3\cache" /Q
erase "d:\games\world of warcraft\cache" /Q
echo "launching"
d:\games\hb3\honorbuddy.exe

I know it could be smoother and generic, but you get the idea.

svn update d:\games\hb3\wq <--- this is where I keep this amazingly great profile

only downside to doing it this way is that wow takes a little longer to launch (due to cache being deleted every day)

I'm having some issue's with certain profile's.
The bot will run to the place where the worldquest is active, thats good.
But then it's not doing the objectives.

It spams the world map only.

I figured out where the problem is.

Take for example the quest 'The Battle Rages On'.
It runs to '<RunTo X="2738.498" Y="5115.393" Z="172.0688" />' Rule 174 in profile.
But it doesnt do the custombehavior right below it on rule 175.

It has to do with the QuestId argument, because when i changed:
<CustomBehavior File="KillUntilComplete" MobIds="101783, 101784, 110535" QuestId="43435">
into: <CustomBehavior File="KillUntilComplete" MobIds="101783, 101784, 110535" TerminateWhen="!WorldQuestInfo.HasWorldQuest(43435)">
it worked like a charm.
