Work in progress World Quests

could the structure be changed a bit?
so that there is a autoloader per area..
and the root autoloader loads the autoloader per area?
kinda like
root
-> autoloader.xml
->azsuna
---> azsunaautoloader.xml

this way.. it will do zone based world quests first?

I'm quite satisfied with what we have now. But evolving on this kind of thinking, some kind of priority logics would be really nice, like being able to choose artifact power before the others or whatever someone might prefer.
I'm not sure what would be my higher priority, but world quests gold would be a lesser one hehehe.

First Rule of Fight Club: Start the autoloader when you are in one of the Broken Isle Main Zones (NOT Dalaran).

Hi,

i started the Bot in Azsuna and its works fine but in the end the message pops up and nothing happens after:

Loading Profile [42119] A Cleansing Cocktail - WiN!

I go now to another location like "Suramar" and he fly back to the "Cleansing.." and stuck there :(

i dont know whats happening here. the quests did work before but now it just spams my map

Getting this. There a alot of WQ to do.

I have tried deleting Cache folder, restart HB but bot goes in endless loop doing this:

This will eventually happen for everyone - it is your cache that isnt clearing the objectives. Follow the instructions here (this is not just delete 1 file - it is multiple locations):

Honorbuddy:HelpDesk:Cache corruption problems - The Buddy Wiki

PLUS: Delete your ".\Honorbuddy ***\Cache" folder

Full destructions:

Shut down all WoWclients and Honorbuddy running on the machine.
Use the Windows task manager to verify that no game clients or Honorbuddy are still running. If any game client or Honorbuddy is running, then the caches will not be cleared correctly.
Delete the following directories/files:
Buddy Store cache: %LocalAppData%/Bossland/Honorbuddy/
(or alternatively, C:/Users/%USER%/AppData/Local/Bossland/Honorbuddy/)
By default, Windows hides the %LocalAppData% (and AppData) directory. You may have to change the "Show hidden file, folders, and drives" setting in the FileExplorer to see it.
.../Honorbuddy/Cache/
.../World of Warcraft/Cache/
.../World of Warcraft/Data/Cache/
BattleNet Cache: C:/ProgramData/Blizzard Entertainment/
By default, Windows hides the C:/ProgramData/ directory. You may have to change the "Show hidden file, folders, and drives" setting in the FileExplorer to see it.
Keep your WoWclient closed for a minimum of 5 minutes.
Restart the WoWclient and Honorbuddy

That doesn't work.

We are running the WQ's multiple times - we get the same Map Open issue - this really does solve it - but it is not just 1 file you need to delete - you need to read the full instructions:

whats the chance later on we can get a plugin with the option on what dailies we can do example like only Resource quests or pvp an such that would be Awsome

I fixed it by restarting HB. But I followed all the instructions and the map still turns on and off.
You posted a reply within 3 minutes - have another go - wait a bit longer - not sure what difference it makes - but those are the instructions - wait 5 mins.

I take NO responsibility for this - just suggestions from other posts:

You could also try deleting: \AppData\Local\Battle.net\Cache

And also: C:\Program Files (x86)\World of Warcraft\Cache

Is there any way to download all of the world quest profiles all at once. I think the problem might have something to do with the autoloader and new quests not being downloaded by us endusers

Felhide quest in Stormheim fails to load from the autoloader with the error: could not parse body node.

I ended up commenting it out of the auto loader to skip the quest.

Sure - scroll back through the posts looking for TortoiseSVN - a few people have posted instructions on how to do it. But the Map Open/Close problem isnt bad coding in the Profiles (at least it shouldnt be) it is a cache issue.

Removed from autoloader until we can test. Thanks for the report.

Got this error message, stop starting the bot cleared it.
Also, the bot did not climb the rope in Vampirates quest, got stuck swimming around the boat.

Cry More Thunder and some others have been removed from the autoloader due to problems. Cry More thunder only goes to the Horde Quest Giver, not Alliance - needs updating or causes stucks. You can still run them as individual files if you want - but they may not work as expected.

How do you download them all? The SVN just makes me have to copy the code and put in a notepad and name them and save them

First and last time i will post this - Zinner will add to the front post

SVN Instructions:

1. Go here and download TortoiseSVN: Downloads * TortoiseSVN
2. Install TortoiseSVN
3. Open File Explorer/Windows Explorer whichever version of the file management program your version of Windows comes with/calls itself.
4. Make a new directory on your computer - for ease lets say c:\World Quests (pick wherever you want)
5. Right Click on the new folder and in the menu there is now an option: SVN Checkout - click this
6. A pop up box appears. In the "URL of repository" field paste this: https://svn.riouxsvn.com/world-quests
7. Hit OK and the files will all download to your PC.
8. Open HB
9. Select "Questing" from the top Drop down menu.
10. Click "Load Profile"
11. Click "From File"
12. Browse to your "C:\World Quests" directory
13. Select the file called "autoloader"
14. Press "Start" in HB (the auto loader will work through the various quests in your new directory one at a time completing each)

One addendum:
Each time you start up HB do the following:
1. Go to your C:\World Quest folder in File Explorer/Windows Explorer
2. Right Click the directory "World Quest"
3. Select SVN Update
4. Press OK

This will make sure you have the latest version of the files. We are updating all the time - 300+ updates so far - keeps yours up to date to ensure any problematic quests are removed and any new quests are added.
