Won't Move Away From the Vendor

So I'm pretty new at using HonorBuddy, as in I don't use it often, and haven't used it in a few months, and I wanted to use Kick's 1-85 Mega Pack to quest on my 65 warrior. My warrior picked up one quest in Zangarmarsh, flew to Shattrath, and decided it'd be better time spent to derp at the vendor, Aaron Hollman, in Lower City.

When I opened Tools & Settings with Advanced Settings, nothing in the Vendors box was checked except for "Learn new flight paths." I didn't see anywhere to turn off "Sell items" or "Repair". I even put all of my items in my bank to see if that would fix it -- nope.

So I said, "OK, I'll try Bot Config. Maybe it's there." Nope. A small window popped up with a check box that said, "Ground mount farming mode." and that was all there was.

I'm unsure what to do. I asked for help in the original thread to see if I could get help, but since I didn't post a log (it said the file was too big, and I don't know how to size it down), I probably won't get an answer.

It could be something on my end that I'm doing wrong. I don't know? I would just really like to know what it is I can do to actually get my warrior away from dry-humping the vendor and start questing. :confused:

I tried on several attempts, but each time it'd finish and say the installation would complete on the next start, it'd say the update failed to install. Anyway I can troubleshoot that?

When I did the Updater manually, the details said:
"Access to the path 'C:\Users\Jessie\Documents\My Videos' is denied." I don't understand. :confused: My HB isn't in My videos, and why would it need access?

delete the existing installa0tion and make a new one from scratch

Ok, so I reinstalled everything from scratch, so now my Honorbuddy is up-to-date.

However, that didn't fix my initial problem of my toon going to the Lower City vendor and just standing there doing nothing.

It's really starting to frustrate me. :mad:

Same for me, I run bgbuddy and mu toon just run off away from the honor halley some random vendor and try to buy and not queue for bg

you are stopping it manually there?
tried to let it download all the nav files it needs?
your toon needs repair?
 
Yes, I'm stopping the bot manually, it fully download all the nav files it needs, and my toon is fully repaired, and has no items to sell, yet she still tries and goes to this one particular vendor.

rubberduckofhell, I've noticed this before and mentioned in another thread. Just in case it helps, look for any quest items or items with no sell price. If you have any try removing them from your bags and see if it resolves the issues. I've come across issues where the bot keeps trying to sell something it can't sell.

I feel that after doing the City of Light quest in Shattrath (which leads to choosing between Aldor or Scryer), the problem is fixed. She's not humping the vendor, and is actually questing this time. Pretty easy fix. :rolleyes:
