Won't load profile?

I get the bot up and running with all plugins installed and then i try to load a profile and when i click on "load" my computer does nothing. Tried a working install from my desktop and i have also tried a fresh install of the program and plugins etc. Any ideas?
 
when you click "Load" it should bring up a dropdown menu. asking "From File" along with a few other options such as scheduler.

have you tried doing a fresh install of demonbuddy?
 
I can get the dropdown menu to show up when i click on the arrow but nothing happens if i just click load. Yes I have tried a fresh install from the site
 
after hitting Load button tried to move the windows and check if the loading window is there "hidden"
 
Tried that. Thought it may be because it is saving the location of the load window on another screen and therefore i couldn't see it... that is not the case though. My cursor changes to the "loading cursor" and then when i move the cursor it changes back to the pointer.
 
make a fresh install of DB, it should reset the location of the window, if you cant move it back.
 
I had a similar problem... In DB directory make a new folder " Profiles " (Just like making a new Plugins folder) and add profile in there than click Load and search for that folder and click on proile then load.

not sure if thats the OP's problem exactly, but definitely worth a try.
 
I have tried both a fresh install and a copy paste install of the working bot from my desktop... I will try the profiles thing above... i do recall deleteing some folders when i first installed the bot on my desktop and i have not done that with the laptop... Also i still copy and pasted over the plug ins instead of installing those. Could that have something to do with it?
 
do a fresh installation,no copies,no plugins and let me know
 
I just did a fresh install and didn't install any plug ins or copy things from other folders... just install, extract all to db folder and loaded up bot. When i click load my cursor changes to the "loading" cursor until i move the cursor and then it changes back to the regular pointer??
 
remove:
- microsoft .net framework 4 client profile
- microsoft .net framework 4 extended
- microsoft visual c++ 2010 x86 redistributable

restart your pc,
download the DB installationwizard from here
run it as administrator.
after the wizard is done, run windows update. And install all updates for .net & c++
restart
 
Still no dice after removing all of that and doing another fresh install. Is there someplace i can just load the profile i want to use from the web?? I am able to click the little down arrow on the load button and that menu pops up and i can click those buttons. The only thing that doesn't pop up is the "explorer window" for files etc...
 
you can try dropbox,i doubt its gonna solve the problems tho
 
is there anything else that my system might be running or doing that won't allow it to open that explorer window? Just seems strange that the cursor changes to loading but then goes right back to arrow as soon as i move the mouse....?
 
on what OS are you?

make sure all available windows updates are installed
 
windows 7 home premium. And all updates are done. does this need to be in any sort of compatibility mode?
 
nope,compability mode is not needed

most likely it has to do with net framework

any chance f a new OS installation?
or do you have a second machine or something?
