Howdy folks. I was wondering about getting honor buddy and i got questions about CR's.

Atm im playing disci priest, 10/14hc - hovering around top 80-85% of disco on warcraftlogs on almost every encounter.

-How well does it perform? Will it perform better than me if configured properly? Cuz life swap at % of tank hp seems really good and fast (im using Grid2 + manualy targeting ppl then keybind, so sometimes its 1s too slow)
-Which one for priest is the best? I saw 2 that have alot of activity in threads and one got v2 in beta as far as i know
-What does it do? Movement/Dodgeing/Mechanics executions too?
-Do i need to pay for something more than HonorBuddy?
-If they is additional paid stuff, it is worth it?
-It will work on progress or its rather for farm only?
-Does it consider special stuff like Thok silence/Thok Yeti dodgeing etc?
-How overall it performs in terms of hps?
-Are CR's capable of shielding raid before some mechanics? Like spirit shield before swelling pride etc? I mean, can they prevent stuff or just react to stuff?

Thanks in advance for answers :)

Hey mate

Ill try to explain as much as i can and hopefully it helps you abit to understand whats happening

I think the only disc priest from a PvE side is Oracle
and its pretty much the settings that you need to fix around to get the better output from the combat routine

You might wanna start with a bot base first .. i recommend https://www.thebuddyforum.com/honorbuddy-forum/botbases/102004-bot-tyrael-raiding-botbase.html
from personal experience as 14/14hc raider

it lets you control the movment of your character but the combat routine will handle the casts etc

After that i would recommend settings major cooldowns like spirit shell or divine hemp or w/e priest major cooldowns there is to be shut off ... except for important ones like life swap ofc which would be better to set a % on a tank for a quick swap if needed

you should use the raid cooldowns on your own and this should be the case for all other class's to get the best output because you might calculate on your own when theres an incoming damage which needs some cooldowns like for example sha of pride swilling pride you can use spirit shell around 5/6secs before the cast to get everyone sheilded up before the explosion ... something like this the combat routine wouldnt do for you so you need to handle on your own

other than that just fixing the settings to your own liking .. i advice trying to do flex's first with the bot before trying to do hc raiding so you can get used to how things are done and dont get screwed over :p

as for ur questions you dont need to pay anything to anyone unless you feel like they deserv it ... for me i have no idea if theres any private priest pve combat routines out there but i heard oracle if pretty good

I did use a combat routine for progress ... i actually been using it since 0/14 on normal .... was very helpful xD

-Does it consider special stuff like Thok silence/Thok Yeti dodgeing etc?
for this one you need to dodge the yetti on your own ... but for thoks silence i believe oracle has a built in system for that fight

-How overall it performs in terms of hps?
actually depends on the combat routine + your settings.. what i seen in oracle is that its VERY customizable so you could really turn the whole thing up by fixing the settings on your own .. and if you know how to heal as a disc priest already it should be a cake to do

Enjoy and if you need to ask any more questions the guys are always around to help =)
