After 2nd appeal, went from perm ban to 72hr + final warning

Offense: Unapproved Third Party Software

A third party program is any file or program that is not a part of the World of Warcraft software, but is used in addition to the game to gain unfair benefit or advantage. These programs may increase movement speed or teleport characters from one place to another beyond what is allowed by game design. It also includes any programs that obtain information from the game that is not normally available to the regular player or that transmit or modify any of the game files.

The actions detailed above have been deemed inappropriate for World of Warcraft by the In-Game Support staff of Blizzard Entertainment. Based on a review of the information presented, this World of Warcraft account has been given a final warning and a 72 hour account suspension, in addition to any previous warnings issued. Until the suspension has been lifted, the account will not be accessible. Please note that Blizzard Entertainment will be unable to provide further information regarding the specific time an account will become accessible again. Be aware that any additional inappropriate actions may result in the permanent closure of the account.

That's better than nothing. I was surprised mine was completely lifted. I'm sure whatever reason i was banned was my fault so it gives me the motivation to utilize all of the available tools and information to make sure it doesn't happen again. congrats on getting the account back (in 3 days)

CONGRATS Korean! Sorry to hear you got the ban hammer but at least you got it switched. I just started botting again with the account I got banned then switched to the 72 hour suspension. But I'm not touching GB2 on it for awhile. I'm currently just running Kick's and lvling an alt with a RAF 2nd bot account. I would recommend you do the same. Just kick back for a couple weeks to be safe. And when you start up again, going to have to be on your A+ game. No more public profiles and short short farming windows. Like 1-2 hours at a time tops.

I bet you got banned for using a sor account doesn't matter if it is your own they're watched more closely then normal accounts.

Or maybe your bot got stuck that's possible aswell with randomized profiles.



Also i've had hack emails before when i traded gold and didn't bot on the account so it's defenitly possible that you got banned for that.



But overall I woulden't bot on that account anymore if you don't want to lose it.

Make a battlechest bot to 80 then buy cata+mop and lvl to 90 and ur back with a much safer account goodluck btw ;p.

Hello, I have 1 lvl 90 druid. I have farmed the morning from 6 to 18:00, varying the times and locations as Jade Forest and T4W.
My bot is configured to vary the height of farm and marked the option "random spot," I do not abuse the use of the bot.
So my bags are full I send the ores or plants for my other email account (COD).
Still my farm account was banned, I do not leave completely afk, I try to talk in chat, make 1 raidfinder, to communicate the guild to let the bot more humane as possible!
After much discussion with the blizzard was punished and suspended for 72 hours, and not get banned again? I have no idea how they detected.
Sorry for the bad english, I'm from br.

That option doesn't randomize hotspots.... it's confirmed by devs it doesn't.

Also height doesn't matter much.

Try gatherbro google it.

Thanks bro, was wondering when you were gonna chime in on my fail! hah... Yeah, I'm gonna have to figure something out, def don't want to get banned again. Maybe in the meantime while it cools off I'll create a new account and build it up so that I don't suffer such a loss if/when this one gets perm'd up. GL to the both of us hah

Hey I really appreciate the tip w/ making another account. I'm gonna do that, definitely heard the song and dance about SoR accounts, just thought mine might be a little different since it really was my account >_<. Thanks again!

Gatherbro still in open beta? I downloaded it before my farmer was high enough for MoP. Then once it was, I couldn't get the bot config to open up with gatherbro! Maybe I'll tinker with it some more later

Well i've never used it but it should do it's job ;p (i took a break of botting few weeks ago)

I think it is still in open beta i'm gonna try it aswell once the bot is up.

Yeah I'd say take jordi's advice. Me personally, I'm going to build up another account like I told Hall and let this one cool down a little bit. GL to you and hope Blizzard leaves us alone =)
