WoD Gold Making Changes

Just curious where the community seems to think profit will be the highest, I had finally polished my gathering shuffling and AHbuddy accounts and was starting to see decent profit right before WoD came out but now with the addition of Garrisons the 2 gatherers>Shuffler>AHBuddy process really doesn't work, especially with: the removal of prospecting/milling and daily crafting limits on JC.

Some options I see are:

1. Making custom grinding profiles and not over running them
2. Doing a combination of Fishing, Grinding, AHing
3. Using Garrison automation

I feel the same way I can't figure out a great way to make money and the ah dosent seem to be helping much unless i'm going to sit there all day... i've been trying numerous things to make gold but nothing is working out that great any type of help would be greatly appreciated.

I made me some profiles for farming bufffood mats. Everything thats needed for raids is the way to go. absolutely no doubt.

its pretty easy actually, i would presume you have a lot of 90s from your botting, level them to level 93 and decide what you want your garrison to specialize in. if you want to do combos make sure the input material does not overlap otherwise you will just increase your cost of goods sold. if you want to craft items you need to do rotations because everytime you have an abundance you tank the price by a few percent on ah. its better to sell them in a little by little.

say you got 10 tailors with 10 garrisons with tailor buildings. you want to time it so every day of the week you have say 1 epic wod bag to be ready to be put on ah. you dont want to fucking have 10 bags be ready at same time and put on ah because people will undercut you and you will have to do the same and overall tank the price by a little or a lot.

mining and herbalism is a great way for inputs and cutting down cost but they alone are not moneymakers, the ending product is the money maker this expansion not the materials

yeah i understand all that toots but on my server things are really messed up atm i'll just have to wait it out no worries i am still over 600k just didn't want to hurt my bank roll

unless you plan on getting into the gold selling business i'd just sit and retire with 600k gold. you wont have to do dailies and shit and still gets to have the best stuff from buying from ah and not risking account even a little.

i botted for a long time since the glider days and botting accounts is always going to be banned in the end, some of my account lasted years while other lasted a few days ( its really up to the botter and what we do determine the life of the said accounts )
always a matter of time in the end but i already embrace this fact and still continue

but to be honest botting has never been safer then before because the garrison itself generates the income and the bots generally do the leveling. business wise it wouldnt be wise for blizzard to ***** down none economy abusers. people in the end do not quit from others botting, just like i really do not care if other people bot or not if they dont want to level or pvp by hand. if they do not affect my margin i couldnt care less. blizzard probably realize this and already accept that people bot because pvp is a grind and leveling is a chore.

if i were bobby kotick and i find blizzard banning 25% of the subscribers (i really believe 25percent minimum of people bot just from judging by the amount of bots in bg and i know its honorbuddy because i bot myself too) i would probably start doing replacements and company overhauls when it comes to policy and decision making. if i were a shareholder i would pressure blizzard to keep the numbers up and really everyone is happy in the end....

botting now is like training your employees(garrisons) to help you make money and you have to pay them with mats, you still shouldnt drop your mining and herbing because when you are running 10+ garrisons with level 93s (and want to diversify what you want to produce ie. savage blood, temporals, enchants,high end epic bags/gear, cards) you do need to have a herbalist/miner/skinner because you dont have mine and garden unlocked.

right now for example if you are using 1 gold worth of material and selling it you are getting 1 gold approx
however if you use the said 1 gold worth of material and pass through the time-gate (by using multi garrison) you are effectively generating from 2-10x the original cost of the mats if you know what you are doing.


at first i hated the garrison/proffession change but it effectively let botters jew out none botters even harder because time is what non botters do not have and they have to pay out their pocket with gold. (none botters wont get 20+ garrisons up in an realistic time effective manner)

once you have your operation it is more profitable than before garrisons are introduced, now you have not only your bot getting gold but now you also have garrisons behind you generating gold.

I run my bot in pandaria still ~900gph.
Garrisons are to complicated for my simple mind and I have only one char anyway.

you are losing out though because you can still bot pandaria AND have garrisons behind making money for you, garrisons let you generate gold on toons you dont play. if you are botting an account with no garrisons you are only using that ONE toon to generate gold 900gph is not bad if you run 24/7 but you can have more output if you are willing to bot up a few other toons to level 93
