Hi,
I am trying to figure out what I am gonna do in Wod with regard to professions.
I just leveled five toons through gatherbuddy :

Lvl 90 Shaman - JC (600) / Alchemist (not done yet)
Lvl 90 Mage to teleport toons to two moons at 90 - tailor / Enchanter (600 both)
Lvl 90 Warrior for heavy pulls - skinner (600) / scribe (not done yet)
Lvl 90 Druid for flight form - herbalist / miner (600 both)
Lvl 90 Druid for flight form - herbalist / miner (600 both)


+ Banker on another computer with stealth V.P.N and Salesman paid version.

Now I am wondering if I will still be able to make money with MOP content. I guess not, but WoD is expensive.
I would like to have some advice.
I was thinking on buying wod for just one of my gathering account to sell raw mats at first. When HB will be online :

Will I be able to use things like Zap recorder to make profiles in new maps ? Or does such plugin need to be updated too ?
I am wondering if I need to buy WoD to level up the professions to 700 ! :confused:

I think that for some Professions, MOP was not even necessary !

What do you think ? I will have a look at Wod profession guides this evening. If you have any advice, I am listening ! :o

My main aim right now is to make enough gold to buy the sessions for my bot without getting banned, good thing would be before my 30 days end ... But I got a feeling that's not gonna happen.

From playing on the beta briefly last night, the skill to learn professions up to 700 is learnt from a scroll dropped by mobs in WoD so yes, it looks like you'll need WoD to get up to 700. I assume these were BoP, I can't say I looked.

They are bound to whomever picks them up currently, and only people with the correct profession may actually roll for the books.

Hopefully we'll get a 10 days trial like MOP (what do u think ?) so that i can grind those using my only lvl 100 in party bot.

It's a good possibility that they will do something like that for new/returning players if they feel that their projected business volume isn't being met. It's a good way to get people (re)invested in the game that lost or never experienced the proverbial 'wow boner.'

Yes because blizzard never offers any type of TRIAL.
 
I am manually checking and cleaning what I have on my toons to be ready when the bot is online.
I realized we now have stacks of 200 !!

That's cool for the bank but now I am wondering ... how big should be the stacks we post on AH ? Any advice ?

It really depends on the demand for an item. For high demand stuff I have been selling stacks of 200 at above the low end rate and have been selling them at a decent pace. If it's something like arcane crystals which at least on my server have a low sale rate but a high price, I sell as 10 stacks. (Green Tea Leaf, Ghost Iron, etc. I sell as 200 stacks right now.)
 
Aren't the price going to drop because of the size of the stacks ? (bigger amount, lower prices ...)

No. The only thing that will change is that instead of a person buying 20 stacks at once, he will buy 2. Doesn't mean more ore is being mined.
 
Easier for us then :D
With those big stacks, I just realized I had 4000 green tea ^^

as an auction house consumer I always prefer and will pay more for the max stack. I get this a lot with things like flasks, if someone is selling 5 flasks at 150, i'd gladly buy 20 flasks at 800 just to save me from having to buy 4 things instead of 1.

Just a tip - use rogues on the red line. I am sure you could figure it out on your own why.

Currently with the choice of two popular talents (nightstalker and burst of speed) a rogue is able to run around in stealth at ground mounted speed (NE can reach 212%, others 205%). I believe what this will lead to is rogues will become the new gathering class (druids move over for the new king).
 
OMG I did not realize that !
Next team will have rogues !

For this one it's kinda too late ... or do you think it's worth it to lose time leveling rogues ? ^^

Just finished leveling tailoring and enchanting by hand :)

OOOooooh I did not realize the whole problem ! We can't fly in WoD ! (yeah I think slowly :3)

What do you think would be the best way to level rogues now with the accounts I have ?
make 5 toons again ?? Can we do cross-realm teams to level up through dungeonbuddy so that I can make two rogues on this one and three other toons on another realm ?

I doubt 5 rogues are valid setup for DB, but you can always setup them the right way, and level 3 rogues+tank+healer, then on the tank and healer accounts grant levels from the 3x rogues accounts, and rise 2 new rogues to 85.

Right now, yes rogues are faster, BUT, with WoD coming, druid get a glyph for Travel Form to run 100% (so same speed as ground mount) + we have the Feline Swiftness talent tier 1 that gives you an other 15%, so that is 215% minimum! :D So maybe no stealth, but constant, still no shapeshifting required to gather herb, 215% speed to run around and gather!!!
