[Wizard] Tal Rasha Meteor 100+

This seems to be something introduced by the newest version where the author changed the targeting system from the default Trinity. What seemed to fix it for me is checking off "teleport to mobs in melee mode" and checking of "enable default trinity targeting".

Let me know if this doesn't fix it.

When I said rip I meant without dying and consistently being able to clear it, so basically referring to stability rather than speed. This is one of those builds that you should run as high as you can because running lower is about the same speed anyway. I find the biggest barrier to clear speed is actually density. I still wear nemesis for 100 and if I get several pylons and good density I can do 100 in 7-8 mins at times. The gems I run are taeguk, trapped, and esoteric.

It's definitely not as fast as the necro pest build, but I think this build is the highest a wizard bot has ever been able to do. I've never been able to run 100 with archon routines in previous seasons. I tried the frozen orb chinese build (can upload if anyone is interested), but that one lacks killing speed to get up to 100 and the firebird routine is too squishy. Both peak at 90ish. So I think this routine is the highest wizard botting will go this season.

Thanks! I've been running Zei's instead of Esoteric in mine because more damage the better imo haha. Especially the rift guardian the bot seems to like to stay ranged which is good. But in that case, stricken may be better. Another somewhat related question. Is there a reason to use Arcane Torrent over Ray of Frost - Cold Blood? Ray is much cheaper to use and let's you drop a lot of resource reduction and stay at 100% AP. Is it the damage of arcane torrent? Or maybe more APOC procs? I've been wondering this awhile now. My normal build I do Ray of Frost and cleared 108 solo.

I haven't actually tried removing esoteric. I might to see if it makes a difference. You're right about ray of frost - it is the skill that most non-bots will use. There is no clear reason to use torrent since ray procs about the same amount of apoc and it costs less. My only guess is that it has something to do with routine programming. The original author for some reason thought this fit better with the bot's behaviour. I've actually tried modifying the routine to use ray of frost instead, but it wouldn't work and would throw errors. It could be the case that having two channeled skills on the bar somehow messes with the bot deciding which to channel after casting meteor. Or it was just a bad choice by the original author and should be ray of frost. Either way I can't ask him cause it's all in mandarin on those boards :D

Update: I looked through the original chinese post and some people asked about ray of frost. The author simply says the routine doesn't support it for whatever reason. I also realized the arcane torrent fulfills one of the tal stacks through lightning, so changing ray of frost would mean changing frost nova to something else and I guess the routine programming doesn't play well with that.

Tested without esoteric. You're right, it actually makes it better and clears faster. Without esoteric the toughness is still plenty for gr100 - it just spikes the health a bit more. I opted to use powerful instead of zei's cause zei's doesn't give enough damage at my fighting distance. Using audacity and zei's doesn't make much sense since you have to be within 15 yards for audacity so you'll either lose audacity's damage or your zei's will only give 15% or so increased damage. Powerful gives 35% against elites.

'Enable default trinty targeting' did it for me. Thx!!

Will test to see if this has any impact on high GR

This is really good routine.. Thank you for your efforts.. It is working very well on GR95+ even without ancient items (para 2k). I wonder if there is a Firebird/Meteor routine with explanation (like this one), could you share link please?

If you read the first page there's a explanation as to why firebirds sucks for botting ^^
 
I love this, I was a firebird non archon clearing 80 hard now I clear 90+ with this one thanks !!!!!!
 
Is there a elite version of this item list with the DeathWish as ancient or not with the correct stats? Thank you in advance

This is v1.34 from the chinese forum. Working fine with current demonbuddy beta. Obviously not translated, just plug-in and go ;)
