Wizard guidance please. Picture of stats and gear included.

I am seeking out professional knowledge on obtaining the best EXP for a Wizard. Reason why I post here is because maybe there are some settings I am not aware of in DB/Trinity. I need to hear from you guys on what could be the best route to go for upgrading my gear. I wanna increase my EXP as much as possible. Right now I am doing roughly 45m/hr. Any more information you need to help me out then I will post upon request. Thank you.

I'm assuming you are archon? Still post your build. What profile are you running? What MP?

On my archon, I averaged 60-100 mil xp/hour using FallenDev's Weep XP profile on mp6.. http://www.thebuddyforum.com/demonbuddy-forum/demonbuddy-profiles/act-1/118796-fallendev-act1-profile.html

Assuming you are archon, you should replace the chantodo's offhand with a triumvirate. I'm not sure how much gold you have to spend, but you should get a better zuni's box with crit chance at least, and average dmg if you can afford it. Get rid of those lacunis and craft some bracers until you get one with int/vit/ar/cc. Get a witching hour with vit on it. A tals armor with either life % or AR. Zuni's boots with higher vit or AR if you can afford one. Other than that your gear is alright. You're life is a little low though, 50k would be ideal. Also is that your dps/ar with glass cannon on as a passive?
 
I am actually in the same boat as you at the moment. I am currently running an Archon wiz with almost the same gear as you but 10k less dps, and traded one of my rings to run a Hellfire Ring.

I have been running Tinkaizer's profile so far, and been getting around 45 - 60mill xp/hr depending on mob density. I have also tried FallenDev's A1 profile, and got around the same numbers. (What MP are you running it on Fuzzy?)

On a side note, I have also tried Bombtastic and Zorked A1 profile, but the numbers are broken for some reason. DB states 8mill xp/hr, while Trinity says 200mill xp/hr (I have did actual testing and the latter is true). I have asked around but no one seems to answer to why this is.
 
I run it on MP6. I have 380k buffed w/o glass cannon on. I choose to use unstable anom instead of glass cannon, to prevent those "deaths" that occur every once in a while. What do you mean by Trinity says 200mil xp/hour? Where do you see that at?
 
I have 400K DPS buffed with glass canon. I get 90 mill XPPH, 1400 IPH.

I use a black weapon with Triumvirate, Zunimassa boots, and Mempo for helm. All the rest is standard gear.

I run a unique build. I use Ice Armor with the cold Aura, and I use cold blooded/blur/glass canon. I use a Merc with a cold bow, and I set my attack distance to 35 yards. 75% of the time,. I am doing damage to cold enemies. In other words, I am getting +16% dmg from cold blooded, on average. Very worth it if you can stay alive when using ice armor.

I'm on MP6
 
If you go into your DB folder, theres a folder called TrinityLogs, there will be log files generated by Trinity in there.

I assume you're on archon wizard right?

Do you ever find that if your character spends too much time with Disintegration Wave on (ie. >5s) your D3 will DC? I find that happening alot for me. In my case I am running Trininty v. 1.7.3.9 and DB v. .323.

How about you?

maybe try a fresh install of DB? what addons are you using. you should remove the ones that aren't active they sometimes can cause issues even if they are turned off. did you change any other settings in trinity?

I actually did try a fresh install of DB already. For addons I am only using Trinity and QuestTools (tried it w/o QuestTools and problem still there). Trinity is running default values other then custom loot rules.

The new DB actually comes with Trinity 1.7.3.10 (or at least that what it showed in DB), and with that it was even worse (>~3s and D3 would DC). I downgraded to 1.7.3.9, and it got slightly better.

hmm i dunno what else to tell ya then. that's weird never had that happen to me before. maybe try going down to 1.7.3.8? I know it sucks though because you are forced to pick up 2 hand weapons, unless you don't pick up rare weapons?! then there is really no difference in the trinity versions.

I am using Super Tight loot rules anyways, so two handeds should be handled by that.

I am giving 1.7.3.8 a try right now. Haven't bumped into a shielded elite yet to test.

@Fuzzy Getting a new zun pox would only add 3-5k dps.
 
i would lose the legendary bracers and craft a nice rare. just craft like 50 at a time and you should find something good

Hmm. Here's the build I use.

1. Diamond Skin - Crystal Shell
2. Familiar - SParkflint
3. Magic weapon - blood
4. Energy Armor - Pinpoint
LC - Shock Pulse - living
RC - Archon - Improved
Passives: Unstable Anomaly / Galvanizing Ward / Crit Mass

Works great botting or playing.
