There have been a lot of changes since 2015. The bot has been streamlined so that you really don't need to do a ton of setup to get going.
Nearly any profile you would need already come with your DB download. They are in the Profiles > Adventurer folder.
If you want to do Ubers, download UberBot from the profiles section. You really only need the profile from it, not the plugin.
For using the mystic, download Arcanum from the Plugins section to make upgrading gear much easier.
Current Meta with Wizard is the FireBird Archon build:
Wizard Firebird Archon Build (Patch 2.4.3 / Season 9) - Diablo 3
The current Speed Build is FlashFire:
Flashfire Wizard Wand of Woh Build with The Tal Rasha Set (Patch 2.4.3 / Season 9) - Diablo 3
Both of those builds have specific routines coded into Trinity.
Season 9 Haedrig's Gift is the Firebird's set, so that should make it easy for you:
