With 5.2 it seems hunters may be switching to MM

I was looking over at Elitist Jerks and doing some reading about SV hunter when I came upon some interesting reading. It seems that after 5.2 Marksman hunters are going to be doing the highest maximum dps at roughly 167k dps, then Beast Mastery hunters at roughly 132k, then Survival hunters at roughly 123k. So, SV is going back to the bottom and, for a change, MM will be on top by a good margin. My question is who's going to be the first to develop a MM routine to reflect these new changes in 5.2?

I know there are a few developers here that do an absolutely wonderful job on their routines, but being since real life has a tight grip on them, it makes it hard for them to be active in their coding pursuits. So, I look forward to, ONCE AGAIN, changing specs on my hunter and playing the top DPS spec in the game again.

That Elitist jerks post is for 10 man not 25. So it won't be higher if you do 25 man raids.

Ah, I see. I've never really been one to theory craft on my own. I generally read others' theory crafting. I tend to follow EJ more than Icy Veins or even Noxxic (completely disagree and despise Noxxic, so I never follow it). I also look over http://www.raidbots.com to see what's going on currently.

I can understand the difference between 10 and 25 man raids with all the extra buffs that 25 man brings, but my guild is small and we only run 10 man raids. The closest I come to 25 man raiding is joining a LFR group, which as you know, is completely different from regular and heroic 25 man groups. LFR is a joke when it comes to raiding. You can just stand there and blow CDs and not really pay that much attention to mechanics as you would have to do in real raids. I don't really even consider LFR a "real" raid, but more so just a practice raid.

Anyway, I was digressing quickly. I know this community doesn't cater solely to me, so I can accept the general consensus of what's created and developed. I just thought that perhaps there were others that may benefit from a MM based routine aside from just myself. I do think of others, and I'm far from selfish, so if it's deemed unnecessary to create a MM spec because the masses will stay BM or SV, then so be it. I'll continue using SV over BM simply because I find BM to be quite boring to play, or even watch the bot play. But, I do thank you for clearing up the EJ post information for me. I thought it was for overall data, in general, and not just for 10 man raiding.

Mostly all fights on ToT has some sort of adds phase. So It's highly unlikely that people will roll MM just because of the single target, survival still owns on multi-targetting.
I haven't been able to experience any ToT content yet. My ilvl is shy a few points to get into any ToT LFRs right now. I'm working on it though. My next piece of gear will get me to 479 ilvl, but the RNG is not kind to me in the LFRs. I get shit tons of gold though, so at least that's good.

As for the posting I created, I was thinking purely from a DPS standpoint. I wasn't really thinking single target or multi-target. I was just thinking of the numbers. So, all the points that have been brought up are worth taking into account. Thanks for the input.
