WIP Community Loot Rules - Patch 2.1.2 Ancient Rules

The code handling ELEMDMG% does seem to be altered along the way. I guess I will give it a test for a few days and report back.
as stated by Jok2k the ELEDMG tag doesnt seem to work, id be happy to use it if for some reason it has been fixed.

- I'm pretty sure [ELEMDMG%] does not work
- meticulous bolts are useluss this patch for DH
- rules for quivers and some others items are WiP i'm working on getting syntax correct first
- we should all share :P

This is not true. People are clearning high 45+ GRifts using M6 Lightning with Meticulous Bolts.

Hi everyone,
I know that there are still some people who enjoy the old lightning gameplay and are unhappy about the changes made by Blizzard, and since everyone is talking about how dead the lightning build apparently is, I just wanted to share with you this clip of how it is still working after patch 2.1.2. --> Video (Tier 47 - 11:37).
Given that the highest clear on PTR and live 2.1.2 was Tier 50 so far, I still think that lightning can be a viable alternative to the Cluster Arrow and Multishot builds right now. No ancient items were used in this run.

I also updated the guide in the Diablofans builds section (previously: Meticulous Punishment), and renamed it Blue Tides (for the constant ups and downs of the discipline bar and the feeling of drowning your enemies in a surge of blue lightning), since the Preparation - Punishment rune is no longer involved in the build.

i think i'm to stupid for this :(
Sry your lootrules are from my point of view to hard, ancient weapons will be better in 98% of the cases regardless if they roll +damage etc.

So i edited the file, looking like this:
[QUALITY] == "Legendary" && [NAME] == "The Fist of Az'Turrasq" # [MINDMG] < 1301 -> [TRASH]

But... i've seen in my logs, that a Ancient Fist of Az'Turrasq wasn't stashed... i didn't get it what have i done wrong?

Or can someone just post a legendary.dis keeping all ancient items? tried with maxstat, didn't work...

Is this safe to bot with a Monk and Barbarian? Or is it only focused on DH?
 
How couldi modify this to keep class set pieces whether or not they are ancient?
As well as things liked SMK, mask of jeram, flying dragon, wand of woh, rrog etc

yes you could, but this is a high end loot rules, i'm keep only end game items.

SMK, WOW, RROG are being kept regardless

Why does it sell Forgotten Souls? And is there a way to tell it to pick up Forgotten Souls?

Also the items that it salvage from eg. looting "bad" legendary or from blood shard gambling, it sells the mats, I think it should STASH it

It's a problem with Trinity, if you're using 2.3.3 version, just put the mats in protected slots, otherwise update to the latest Trinity version (should be fixed in 2.3.3, not sure). The problem has no connection to loot rules, so sorry I can't help you anymore than this.
 
Hello guys, I saw you talking about ancient marauders gear, and mentioning it had armor instead of vit and that's why it was salvaged. My question is ideally wouldn't you want dex, socket, cc, skill - cluster arrow or multishot? Is that accounted for in the rules?

Good idea. Thanks. But it still dont pick up Forgotten Souls after each Rift boss? Is that also a Trinity bug?
 
Woke up to see a near-perfect Ancient Etrayu (high base damage, 10% dmg, 19% cold, 972 dex) salvaged :/ Unsure if it is a typo somewhere but I looked and everything seemed okay in the rules.

yea, im sorry but these rules don't work alternatively they contain choices which I wouldn't make. just saw ancient hexing pants salvaged. 3 hours of running 0 items were kept. set up as per the instructions. think i'll just have to clear 4 tabs every or so 8 hours rather than use something like this

if only the "keep ancient items only" tag in trinity worked

Well this rules are only good if u already have perfectly geared chars and want to upgrade them to ancient quality items. I personally don't like this as there are some non ancient items with better stats eg. secondary resist gear for monks...
