Windows XP isn't support by demonbuddy, who is concerned?

Hi eveybody,
the demonbuddy team say that demonbuddy isn't working anymore (thez are using .net 4.5.1) witch does'nt work on xp (.net 4.5.0 work on xp). But i dont' think they really use the feature of .net 4.5.1. (will mak some reverse ingeenering to see it).

Of course, the team say upgrade your os but i am sorry i can't do that because i have lots of programs who works only on windows xp and are running so bad (graphic program) on VM.

So now you have bought a tools which is say windows XP working (and try buying a new one now, the website says it works from xp to W8).

I want to know how many people are concerned with the problem because they were lying with the features of the tools.
Even if microsoft does'nt support windows xp anymore, the os is working and other software editor of course make upgrade for their tools on windows xp and make new version for the news OS system.

We can't not accept this from Bossland who is doens't taking care of their customer and give us : upgrade your OS. BUT WE BUY A TOOL WHICH IS WORKING ON XP.
 
Please atleast proof read what you type >.<

Win7 will see pretty much all XP programs work on it, and if for some chance it doesnt then create a partition for both os's or better yet get new software that works on newer OS.

I dont see the issue, the website might not of been updated but XP is ancient and its time it died and went to bed.

Sorry but imo, deal with it and move on like the rest of the world and technology.
 
Old operating systems like Windows XP which are full of security holes and incompatibilities should be upgraded either way. It is no longer supported by Microsoft... which means no more .NET upgrades for you. Not Bossman's fault... it's yours for not heeding Microsoft's many warnings.
 
yes of course as diablo is'nt working anymore on windows xp....

and the bot don't use .net 4.5.1 feature. Of course it's the difference between professionnal developper compagny like blizzard and people who don't know what is a compatility. But now nervermind i was able to make it works on windows xp with 4.5.0.

And for security let me joke, it's as easy as joking for taking control on windows operating system and it takes around five minutes to have a full acces on computer.
 
All of our products are shifting to no longer supporting Windows XP for a couple of reasons.

Since Microsoft has stopped supporting general versions of XP, that means that there will be unfixed security holes.
Secondly, <1% of our customers have Windows XP.

We are using a newer version of .NET which allows us to utilize new, neat stuff.
