Do not upgrade to windows 8 if you expect to use any of the bots here. You've been warned.

been using HB and Win 8 for 6 months...please dont post alarmist stupid shit..

windows 8 since september. love that os. clean and fast. honorbuddy works like a charm. better to chew than post

Don't have it yet. What kind of issues have you been experiencing?

That it rids several settings from windows 7..

mhmm lets see

Closing apps without always having to use our keyboard (Metro).
Being able to run more than one app or window on a screen at a time (Metro) – and, no, pinning an app to a one-third sidebar doesn’t count.
How our keyboard’s Windows Key used to pull up a handy list of applications and other shortcuts (Start Menu) instead of just opening up a portal between two diametric interfaces (Metro).
When operating systems were more about delivering data and information to the user (Desktop mode) than graphics and pizazz (Metro).
Being able to quickly see all the programs that we’re running by glancing at our desktop (Desktop mode) versus having to perform semi-precise actions to reveal what our operating system is doing (Switch List).
Being able to scroll over thumbnails and click to access content – thumbnails now disappear on Metro’s hot corners when you try to do what you’ve previously done for so very, very long.
Having applications that scrolled vertically instead of horizontally (Metro), which often leads to more wasted white space that could otherwise be filled with useful data.
Being able to use our mouse wheel to scroll vertically (Metro), and the consistency of knowing that down was always down, not right (Metro), and up was always up, not left (Metro).
Normal font sizes instead of giant, header-like text everywhere.
When a PC’s operating system was designed for a PC, not a tablet.
Being able to log onto our systems without having to “unveil” the damn password box, the digital equivalent of a sweeping bow and a trumpet fanfare.

honorbuddy and demonbuddy (beta currently) both support Windows 8 and theres a lot of people botting perfectly fine on windows 8.

for honorbuddy set your wow to DX11 in the launcher, and you should be able to bot just fine.

for demonbuddy, you HAVE to be running the latest beta as thats the only version that has support for it right now

or use a VM

i have 8 on both my laptop and desktop and they run the bots fine.

In Windows 7 I can do all or most of that using less movements of my hand, mouse and less keystrokes. the mouse was invented to make things faster and easier. Now we're at the peak of this efficiency and the solution is to BACKTRACK?????

I can do all of that in windows 7 with half the work. Doing things in windows 8 takes more steps.

Windows 8 is great I think u just don't no how to use HB with Windows 8 As CodenameG said turn Dx11 on with windows 8 an HB will work just fine

im sure it works fine, im just saying windows 8 is adding more steps to the already super efficient windows 7.

why is DX11 for W8 supported, but forW7 not?
you just hate W7 !!:p

You have been warned ??? by someone one that clearly has no idea what they are doing.. Right now as im posting this i am botting 3 accounts on windows 8 and at 200+FPS(way over kill but that what i get).

Honor buddy works fine with Windows 8 i acuttly find it works better(Faster) then when i was in Windows 7...

Im not a fan of windows 8 either.. but it runs Honorbuddy and WOW just dandy..

So this thread should be deleted.

windows 7 supports both dx9 and dx11, (if your card supports it). if your running W8, then you HAVE to run it in dx11 mode.

thread closed.
