Windows 8 - What do you feel about it?

How do you feel about the upcoming Windows version, will you upgrade, do you like the changes...?
Will it impact your botting in some way? (I dont know why it should)

But generally, what do you think?
 
They will update Windows 7 but not as frequently as before.

Yeah, you're right, but what if there were no mayor issues, but HB2 didnt work and you got a free license for W8?

Honestly, I'd most prob still stick with Windows 7, I'm not use to change, and I prefer to stick with what I am used to, and what I know works
 
From what I know, Windows 8 will really break a lot of things, like some hacks etc.
 
I would not doubt it, I'm sure they will support it though, since people seem to think that since it's new they have to upgrade to it.
 
i think i want my start menu, me and him have been friends since 1995.
 
I honestly haven't looked into it enough to really decide.
 
I don't know why everyone hates the new "metro" start menu but I really actually like it after having used it for awhile.
 
I have been using Windows 8 Professional for over a month and I have absolutely zero issues. Just download Start8 to bring back the original start menu and download any free third party that bypasses the Metro menu on login and there you have it. All the features of windows 8 with a windows 7 feel to it.
 
Unless I can have a start menu, I'm not going anywhere. I don't like most microsoft products, and I don't enjoy being forced into their image, id honestly want the ability to flat out turn off the Metro UI. Seeing as how that's probably not going to happen, then I'll go ahead and wait for windows 9. Also not a fat chance in hell I'm paying for it.
 
That new metro/mobile looking start menu throw me off and I HATE it.
 
I've been trying to get my head around it for about 4 weeks with the consumer preview and I have to say, given the amount of time evaluating it, I want my life back!

I just don't care. Windows 7 works for me and it's had plenty of updates so it could not be updated for months and still work better than Windows 8 after comparable time, you never know. Plus, I want HB to run stable as possible along with drivers and all that other nonsense. By the way, you can completely disable the metro UI, did it in the developer preview. I think desktop was back to normal as if you're using Windows 7, can't remember real well.

How to: Get rid of Windows 8 Metro UI

Was published in June this year so may work.
