as long as you change wow to use DirectX 11 before starting honorbuddy you will be fine.

Its not working, i try everything it just crashes i switched to directx11 and nothing , the second i press the log in button it crash directly :/
I downloaded the beta and it gives me the same crash, try dirx9 and 11 and both the same, the min i press the login button program is dead.

Any idea :/

what error are you getting, can we get a screenshot?

It is not an error as far as i can see, i will later on , but when i press login it just crash and the option to send report or not, dunno if this crash gives any information.

ok well lets run though the checklist then

is wow set to DX11 Mode?
are you completely logged in and in game, before starting honorbuddy?
are you sure you have the latest version of honorbuddy installed?
do you have .net 4.0 installed on your system?

is wow set to DX11 Mode? - Yes
are you completely logged in and in game, before starting honorbuddy? - Yes, tried logged in and logged out both way instant crash
are you sure you have the latest version of honorbuddy installed? Yes i downloaded the latest version
do you have .net 4.0 installed on your system? This is something i'm not 100% sure because windows 8 is a bit new so it might not come with .net 4.0 but i will check later on when i go back home. I really hope that is the issue.

Ok i checked and all windows 8 are coming with installed .net 4+ so what else can be the issue...

are you running as admin? and have you tried (if possible in windows 8) to run it as windows XP or 7 compatibility?

Windows 8 users should be ware of the following.

-Windows 8 comes with .NET 4.5 and they have to go to Programs and Features to also add .NET 4.0, as it is an optional component, not enabled by default.
-Windows 8 x64 users should start WoW from WoW.exe and not the launcher, as now the launcher will start WoW64.exe if the machine has a 64 bit version of Windows.
-Windows 8 users should run WoW in "Windowed" mode. "Fullscreen (Windowed)" mode also work fine, but the important part is that it must be Windowed and not pure Fullscreen.

Hey I am thinking to upgrading to Windows 8 but I dont want to use DX11 mode because it will need more GPU RAM which is bad. Does it work now in DX9 mode? Or should I stick with Windows 7?

As i tried to switch to dx9 it crash the WoW client as well as HB

my personal advice is dont sweitch to W8 right now , i have some graphics issues as well so i dont recommend to go w8 right now wait month or 2 for everything to be cleared
