Windows 8 ERROR #132 when I start HB

Hi

Im experiencing problems when starting HB. It's the newest version, I have cleared WOW Cache and disabled addons. Im Running windowed mode in DX9. And yes, I'm running both 32 bit wow.exe and HB.exe as administrator.

OS: Windows 8 Consumer preview.

After I log in with my honorbuddy, I get a ERROR #132 Fatal exception after it attaches to the Wow frame.

ProcessID: 2884
Exception: 0xC0000005 (ACCESS_VIOLATION) at 0023:7428571B

The instruction at "0x7428571B" referenced memory at "0xFFFFFFFF".
The memory could not be "read".

My question is, do I have to go back to Windows 7 to run HB? Or is there something else I can do to get this to work on my current OS?

Windows 8 isnt Supported Jet As I'm aware.

But if I remember correct, if you start wow and Hb via hbrelog, it should work. (could be I'm totally wrong with this, but give it a try. )

HBRelog worked like a charm! Thanks for the tip! Saves me the hassle of swapping OS to level an alt

we do not support W8 except RTM.

but i believe highvoltz made a temp fix via hbrelog bc he also uses w8 as his main os
