Item improvements won't come out in Patch 1.08

Lots of good comments here! Just a few quick points

1. As a point of clarification, "dropping less loot on the ground" is not slated for 1.0.8. It's part of our general philosophy for beyond the 1.0.8 timeframe.

The below are all wild conjectures from a psuedo-spirit-vision-journey:

- Blizzard announces D3 Exp Alpha progress and possible Beta start date during Blizzcon 2013

- Beta starts after D3 PS3/4 is released.

- The patch before Expansion is 1.10??? It will be the item improvement/normalization patch, aka "Please buy Expansion" patch, "Non-RMAH players suddenly get Trifecta, perfectly-rolled gear for free" patch (All perfectly-rolled gear will be rendered useless in Expansion Act 5, ilvl64 blue items >> ilvl63 perfect roll items)

- There's a chance that Blizzard All Stars or D3 PS3/4 might be the only games that Blizzard release next year

- Titan is rumored to come out before X'mas 2015, so it's obvious D3 has to come out at least 6 months earlier for Blizzard to "milk the wallets" of D3 players.

If D3 economy keeps with current direction, there wouldnt be much point in buying more keys after next banweave (unless russian for 10 bucks), because it will take several months to return investment. RMAH profits has crashed for botters, and its logical to assume that its same for blizzard, therefore its possible that this time blizz bosses have took break from bunga bunga on their yachts anchored at Miami, and ordered d3 devs to do something for real to revitalize rmah. So i guess that next 3-4 months will be crucial, if in next patch after 1.08 they dont implement something good, it would mean that they dropped this game in favor of developing console ports and x-pac, and we can no longer hold any hopes for making further profits on d3 til latter is released.

I don't have any hope for this game. At all. In the past they have proven to fuck up on every occasion given, this won't change imo.

Free money is always good. But as posted before, theres no point in investing again after banwave.

Dunno if the economy for blizz is that bad. I am selling 'rubbish' items for 1.25 ? and blizz takes 1? several a day. Aint that bad for Blizz. Defrays costs of electricity and the break even point for my banned account is within my grasp. In other words ...<HARLEM_SHUFFLE_MUSIC_start>

addition:
should start to sell on ebay for 'buy it now' 1.00 ?. would be better :)

In my opinion, more than 70 percent of active players are botters now, half of remaining %30 percent of players are botters mule accounts lol.. i dont think there will be a banwave until 1.0.8, probably they will clear servers before 1.0.8 patch out as it happened before 1.0.7 patch 18 December wave. And i dont think 1.0.8 or any new patch will bring something good, even botters are quiting because there is no profit at the moment. After next ban wave i dont think there will be more than 100k active players.. Game is dead, it is over, players dont want to play this game anymore...

sadly I must agree to this. I said it on the first day I heard of the RMah thing: this will break the games neck. It is like an invitation to botters. I would go so far an say they [Blizzard] actually took the whole botting problem and found a solution for it. Better than banning (except for regulating bad gold rates) is charging botter. Reducing the black market by creating a legitimate market for its goods. Always the same old story.

Maybe if the fire all the Jay Wilsons working on D3... it could still be an OK game.
