Will you resub to HB?

So the lifetime key/s i purchased are no longer lifetime and are expired now? well i guess no more HB for me, i don't think that is fair if that is the case here.
 
it would be best to spend a bit of time and read through the bullshit on the forums. pls take the time to make a wise decision based on facts rather than forum vomit.

I can't believe people are actually saying that this was completely unfair.
Do you understand how much work needs to be put into this bot on a regular basis?
This costs money, 25/y is amazing still at this point. You pay 25/h and you have 12 months access.
WOW ITS A BIG DEAL. It could of been 25/m and I still would have paid, why? Because it's worth it.

THINK ABOUT IT, you save for a life time. Sell your gold, make the money back, find a way to subside
for the costs of botting. I'm a programmer in C# myself and I have done projects that are as advanced as this
I understand how much time and money this takes to create and they have been doing it for what 6 - 7 years?
Suck it up, babies.

No one is doubting his programming abilities.

His business practices, however, are shameful. If not completely illegal, then borderline illegal. He should have never offered Lifetime keys in the first place. It isn't a sustainable business model, because he doesn't put out additional premium content. He relies on developers to do it through the Buddy Store, and takes a slice. However, he DID offer lifetime, and he reassured people that "lifetime is lifetime".

From a moral standpoint, what he's done is wrong. And those of you white knighting him are simply addicts that are dependent on his services, justifying a decision which doesn't make logical sense. But that's fine. Don't apologize. Do what you need to do to get what you need. But please, stop trying to justify the action, because there is absolutely ZERO justification.
 
def no. because this company is going to expire in what? 1-2 months? so no worth throwing away my money.
 
I've already resubbed, no big deal. I just want to know what they're fighting? To make the bot legal so that they cant ban us?

They're just fighting to keep their business alive. The lawsuits have nothing to do with whether or not Blizzard is allowed to ban people for botting. HB just wants to be able to continue to sell the bot.

Those of us who played back in the Glider days are seeing the same thing happen. Without some serious legal upsets, HB is on a ticking clock at this point and will be dead eventually. They technically could reform under a new name in a new location.
 
Its a good situation for me to finally stop botting for fun or private accounts, in the end it was never ever worth it, no matter how few I cared about my account, in the end, if I cared so little that it got banned, which was rare bc most often its annoying, why even play it in the first place.. Rather find something new and leave HB for good.

wow. you spent all that money and you are going to throw away all your buddystore purchases just because you have morals over 25 extra euros?

I probably will when my accounts are unbanned but i'm not buying anymore wow accounts. I'm a casual botter I don't do it for profit, I don't have the skills or the know how to set up a decent system to make money.
