I will not be botting again, nor will I be playing Wow any longer, but I am curious about the 64 bit 32 bit argument and wonder how effective is 64 bit client?

So many have said there is no difference and I am leaning in that direction but still I wonder..

Almost everybody now days use 64bit, fuck it if it's not for safety, but 64 is better overall... They just don't wanna put time on it to develop a 64bit version... And they should just say that...

Why won't Honorbuddy work with a 64-bit WoWclient?

Supporting a 64-bit version of the WoWclient takes considerably more effort than just switching a few compiler options. (see Apoc's post on the topic. ) For instance, it alters the way that offsets are calculated, and it requires the rewriting of more than a trivial amount of hand-written assembly code. On patch days, there are now two distinct sets of offsets that must be addressed, and two sets of the Warden and its friends to heavily inspect. It would not be unusual to find a Warden change in one version of the WoWclient, that is not present in the other version.

But the biggest drawback to creating a 64-bit version is that it would fork the Honorbuddy codebase. Honorbuddy is unlike a 'normal' 32-bit vs 64-bit app where all the differences are pushed to a few low-level routines. To do its job, most of the Honorbuddy core is comprised of these low-level routines, making Honorbuddy more similar to a debugger than an 'app'. This means:

All bugs would need to be addressed in two places—the 32-bit Honorbuddy codebase and the 64-bit codebase
All changes would need to be tested both places—this doubles the testing time.

In other words, the 'outage' due to patch days would be significantly increased. The Community would bicker over which version should be released first, or should they both be released at the same time.

A bug in one version may or may not have a similar bug in the other version.

This puts additional burden on the Support team in doing triage. A bug could now easily be N-bit specific.

From data available as of 2014-Feb, the number of users that are not capable of running a 64-bit version of the WoWclient is upwards of 30%. With this in mind, Bossland GmbH does not have the option of "convert to 64-bit and don't look back". Bossland GmbH would absolutely have to support two versions of Honorbuddy—we are not going to abandon one-third of our user base.

For more information, here is the final word from one of Bossland GmbH's most senior development staff, Apoc.

In short, Bossland GmbH will not pursue a 64-bit version of Honorbuddy unless absolutely necessary. To do so, would lengthen the development time to repair bugs and provide new features. If the day comes that 64-bit is an absolute necessity, Bossland GmbH will of course fill the void

Fuck. No. I'm not going legit but I'm done with HB.

Face it, the dream is over. They can detect HB and probably always could but didn't think it was worth the expense.

id rly like to use it for CR that is all other then that i could care less. making gold is so easy compared to the old days now. the only thing i can not do at 100% is the CR my self

Probably nothing. Just feels safer.

There is no safe way just buy an account when it is on sale, bot on it expect to get caught in 6 months or less, if you go longer then lucky you, but you will get caught eventually it is inevitable. Buy a back up account that's also on sale then start botting on that one, when your other account is suspended imensensly. Rinse and repeat.
Blizzard can only generate sales they can not get rid of a botter, the game is so boring to the point no one cares any more, happy botting ;)

HB is by far the best bot on the market right now, if you plan on botting HB is the way to go, no other 3rd party program is safe they are all being hit aswell.

Also 64 bit tools have been caught out in suspensions it is not any more safe then 32 bit.

15 pages of bans in the Ban Reports sub-forum. Will you use HB again?
Yes, but for now I will use something else. In the long run, if an year later I don't see any more ban waves, I will come back. But for the next year I am sticking to other solutions.

Right there with you Kronz! Thought about using it to farm gold and mats and dump to a gbank daily on a sep computer on a proxy with a nw bnet and licenses and when it gets banned 1 month after these 6 month ban waves are lifted... start all over again with a new bnet

Nope. Stopped using HB after the May banwave, just saw 2 of my friends get smacked with an 18 month ban, so yeah- nope.

Will support HB until it closes down. #Nofear

it will still inject into wow, and that is what bli**ard scans.

Not to mention you will still be using ctm while running An x86 client. Not sure how much easier if can be for them other than checkin a box that you c h e a t. (Can't use that word on a botting forum rofl)

I knew this was coming since last time. Called it a dozen times while all the swingers or mentally deficient told all the newcomers botting was safe as ever.

Yea 0 bans for 10 years then 8 in roughly 6 months since the 13th of May. I knew I was done once the rest of my accounts Were gone and had blizzard been infinately more proactive in combatting bots I might still be playing. But what most don't realize is this is supposed to be an mmorpg. By design they are supposed to be immersive and the player is supposed to care about character development.

That's no longer an option. They made the game exponentially easier to the point that it has been a moba with chat for a long time. That coupled with the prevalence of bot, the hypocrisy of santiomed rmt... It was long written

I'm done. Certainly won't help blizzard justify their decision and skew their sub numbers even if accounts were a dollar. What's the point? Invest more time in something worthless that you'll lose again in a couple months at best?

Nah I'm a 34 year Old man with a home, a wife, a child. I've missed console generation after console generation because the genre has been missing a real AAA mmorpg for years now.

I finished 13/13M and have been struggling to log in for the past 2 months for farm let alone continuing after this. It's time for all the amazing games I've missed since the ps2 generation and then late next year when pantheon starts, I'll invest my mmorpg future there. Will it have 10m subs? Not by a longshOt, it's being designed like real mmorpgs of old. Only true hardcore fans of the genre will play and I have no doubt that since it won't be a commercial enterprise botting will be all but non existent.

All I regret is the fact the game allowed botting to this degree which forced many a hand, and that I invested all that time by telling myself this wasn't going to happen. I'll miss some guildies but let's be real, within the wow community how pure and real were any relationships to begin with. I know of one, MAYBE 2 people I'll stay in touch with. Both unbanned as neither botted. In reality as time passes even those relationships will likely slowly dissipate.

For now I'm logging back into OAC2. 0 bots and it plays like wow except with better graphics, it's free, and the investment of time is measured by progression, not how many or how long you have ran bots.

Looking at legion - the game will be further homogenized and dumbed down. They're actually merging pvp with cod - a game in which I've long compared the community to (the Xbox live crowd) toxic and self entitled.

TLDR - nothing here for me anymore. In a depressing way I'm thankful. A bit sad that my pc and its software/setup was all but designed around being in a top 50 guild but perhaps it will translate into future games.

Good luck to those who are staying. I truly hope your smart enough to realize you are now a suicide botter and to behave as such. The old fool me once addage.

Like what? The other two bots which have been both concurrently and simultaneously afforded ban waves as well?

So you intend to learn how to play by hand or give up raiding? Unfamiliar with the fact that blizzard tracks where gold goes and often bans by association? Good luck! Sincerely. Realistically not a long term solution and will ultimately lead to the same exact outcome.

There are more than two bots and the one I am looking at hasn't had banwaves, yet.
