I reinstalled windows 7, since then I installed honorbuddy via zip folder and logged in, connected but when I would click yes patch nothing would happen. I tried installing via installer and same problem. I EVEN had a back up copy from my last computer and tried that one, that one says it will not connect. No anti virus blocking anything. ideas?
 
Also, takes quite some time for the program to even open. just found out, tried to update it while not in game, told me I could not. Once in game again it will just close, does not give me a warning or anything.
 
Did you download .Net 4.5.1 and the 2013 distributable? Check the release page for these links. Also are you using WoW 32bit and DirectX 9? Also post a full log. It helps.

Did you unblock the Zip archive before you opened it and installed Honorbuddy?
Did you install the .NET and C++ distributions?
 
I just did that, I deleted the program compeatly and reinstalled it after I made sure everything was installed. Once done I tried to open the program, it asked to update then it closed. Opened it back up and after it said logging in it closed again.

.net is installed, how do I know if C-++ dis is installed? Im not to sure on that actually.
 
You should be using DirectX 9 like I stated earlier. Are you using 32 bit WoW?

According to your log it says DX11 not 9 that's why I asked. If it's a fresh HB install then try deleting your cache folder in the WoW directory. If I have trouble with attaches I usually double check the anti-virus and then delete both the WoW cache and HB cache. Then it usually works.
 
Thank you Raaz. Did not know that there was a feture in the login screen that you could change your directX. Please close thread as problem has been resolved.
