Why the hell is it so laggy?

I had a break from D3 for awhile.. decided to come back this season n start again..

So, why does the BOT make my game laggy when i activate it? When i deactivate the bot it goes back to normal?

And a tutorial on how to use all the new features for the bot WOULD BE DEEPLY APPRECIATED
